Mine installed after 3 tries, after making a shitton of windows updates (just keep hitting 'check for updates') but now I can't change language and Metro still won't install.

It played fine on GTX 1080. 1440P with default settings.It's a great value, no doubt about it, but I recommend skipping Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. It's runs like crap on my GTX 1080:
Indeed, great list. Thanks! The achievement support is pretty good to begin with. Hopefully they update some of the others, though I'm not sure how likely that is.
That game sure is something. I recommend anyone who has even a passing interest to give it a go.

Metro Exodus is so bipolar it is blowing my mind. I run the game but some times it will come in a windows which goes into my other monitor. Minimizing etc doesn't fix it. Close it run it again might do it again or it might be full screen. Getting in no matter what resolution i have it shows 720 or whatever. I change the resolution and then change it back to 1440 now it looks fine. In window form. Minimize and coming back will fix this. Some times though. Some times not so much. Must launch and try again.
If i manage to get into the game it either runs perfectly. Looks good. RTX is on ultra. Smooth fps. Fantastic i can play. Or it might have heavy fps drops. So i need to restart my pc and then start the procedure all over again. Insanity. The game it self seems pretty good but damn the hassle is making it not worth playing.

It is indeed a brilliant game, everybody remember to use the female character for the far superior voice acting! She really does make a big difference to the humour and tone.
I had all of this happen to me and it annoyed me so much I couldn't get more than a minute into the game because just getting past the main menu was such an ordeal. No borderless mode was the deal breaker for me, even alt-tabbing basically froze the game forcing me to shut it down in task manager.
Is it possible to use the PS4 controller via USB like with the Steam etc or do I need to do something special?
That should be easy enough as the tactics file should still be in my documents/football Manager, I hope anyhow!

You can import your Steam save, but no achievements will unlock on that save.
There are also some broken achievements (6 or so) which is a bit of a shame.

Its a remaster of gears 1, a 2006 game, it not going to run amazing. Gears 4 is a newer game, so obviously fewer performance issues.

They are modifying the base game from 2006, and you expecting perfect performance and gameplay?
I took ownership of the WindowsApps folder. I also deleted the cache for both the Windows store and the Xbox app in %localdata%.
Mainly some stuttering and frame rate dips - weirdly not when there's action going on, only when traversing the empty overworld.
I run DS4Windows and it works perfectly. Not sure if it will work without that, but it's an install and forget about it program that just runs in the background so you should have it anyways. Makes life easy for those non Steam games that don't recognize any non Xbox controller.
Gears 1 DE was a very... let's say, shoddy job patching the original Gear 1 code and engine up to modern rendering features, it didn't end up well. Gears 4 was made by modern UE4 tech and built from the ground up for PC.
From what I could gather around, the game ran completely fine up until a Windows update and they never fixed the performance, so being a 2006 game has nothing to do with it.
There is quite a bit of connection with 3, and it looks like 5 will also have a strong connection with 3. I recommend playing 3 before 4. As long as you played 1-2. You can skip Judgment I think.
I don't want to say too much as it may be spoilery, but yeah, if you are interested in the story, that's what I would do.
I played 1, 2 and had no issue going straight to 4. Story is pretty barebones anyway.

I had Steam running in the background and Sunset Overdrive recognized the controller, although with Xbox control prompts. Have yet to try without Steam if that is still possible.
wow... I need to sign up. the amazing thing for me is that there are games that my PC can absolutely 100% handle with zero problem, and it's coming up on 6 years old now (it's a gaming laptop with a GTX 870m in it). what a deal.
Haven't tried it, but I heard the fix is to plug in the controller after the game starts. If you have the Xbox one controller plugged in and start the game it won't work.
Funny enough I'm playing with a wired Xbox 360 controller and have no issues.
Awesome list and thanks for compiling it for us. I did notice you have SUPERHOT as having achievements. Though according to its "capabilities" within Game Pass it does not note achievements as being supported. Curious if Microsoft missed this.
1: Sign into second account on PC
2: Go to the Windows Store (the Game Pass App may work too)
3: Sign out of the Windows Store and sign in the main account that purchased/installed the content
4: Download the content (it will only download for a moment as it will see all the files there)
5: Play with second account. It will have permission from this point onward regardless of whether the first account is signed in
I have messed around with two accounts in the past, but I haven't found a way for an install to go across without doing the above. Someone else may be able to chime in with a better method, but if you just want to pass on the permission for the second account to play, do the above.
I'd say an oversight, as it definitely does have achievements (though one is glitched). I don't know if it's the devs or Microsoft inputting that sort of information, but there are some inconsistencies. Also, Bomber Crew just says: "Capabilities Xbox Live", which isn't very informative. It's not achievements or multiplayer, so I assume it means leaderboards?

If in the capabilities it does not state Xbox Live, chances are it does not have any achievements or cloud saves or anything similar.

The store is missing a lot of games having achievements listed in it's description.SUPERHOT does have achievements and is a separate list from the Xbox version.
