Having game pass as really relaxed me with my backlog, now I know I can never play anything so I just go where the fun is at or where my friends what to play something together.

It's really a buffet now, love it!

I wonder if/when Microsoft starts retracting some of it's 1st party stuff. I assume it'll be years from now, but at some point it'll become bloated just on their stuff alone. Or if they just don't mind.

I mean really I guess it's better that way because people will expect 100+ but they'll get 200+ and be happy about the amount they've recieved.

I think it's wise to keep the tagline where it is ("over 100"), and constantly over-deliver. The on-demand library has been exceptional for both PC and Xbox. I don't think I've ever been happier with a service like this.

Ok, so not to break this thread apart but PSNow and XGP together is the best value. Now already has alot of the third party games XGP has, it's all about the exclusives at this point.

With the deals they have from time to time it's even cheaper than it would seem. It's an absurd value that allows you to play so many great full games of such variety that it's just unreal. X019 added and announced so much goodness, too, with Japanese titles truly getting a spoltight too. All around absolutely impressive.

There was an interview posted last year where someone at MS - don't think it was Phil though - said they did some market testing where they found "100" was the magic number. If you say "more than 300" then people automatically assume it's full of dross or feel overwhelmed. Trying to find the interview....

Lmao, it's not even close. PS Now doesn't even belong in the same breath as Xbox Game Pass.

I think the problem with PS Now is that indies and third parties continue to ignore the service. A LOT of indie games are releasing on Game Pass Day 1, but yet ignore PS Now. I think there's an underlying problem.

Agreed - it's my one quibble with the service, which is otherwise outstanding.

Would love a more advanced heads-up that titles are leaving - a fortnight or so is just a little too short, and I'd much prefer a month... but there are no doubt commercial considerations and marketing shenanigans at play here, e.g. users of the service might be deemed x% more likely to purchase a title as it's leaving Game Pass with only the fortnight of warning, etc.
