Up to native 4k, it can be dropped to maintain 60fps.
dude WHATThere's a suit you get from beating a sidequest that puts a cat into your backpack. It's got it's own spider-man mask and helps you beat bad guys up when you hit them with finishers... GOTY confirmed??
Saw some screenshots on Twitter of the article and...
Looks like Rhino breaks out and is one of the bosses.
Why did I open it?There's a suit you get from beating a sidequest that puts a cat into your backpack. It's got it's own spider-man mask and helps you beat bad guys up when you hit them with finishers... GOTY confirmed??
it is. We use temporal injection to create and deliver a 4K image (which then gets tone mapped, and UI applied).
The native resolution behind the scenes is dynamic, but temporal injection means you'll always see 4K.

Wow, that's actually a really cool technique. I hope more games have VFR use that methodit is. We use temporal injection to create and deliver a 4K image (which then gets tone mapped, and UI applied).

It will definitely be interesting. I imagine overall PS4 Miles Morales will also look better than PS4 Spiderman considering they had more time to refine thingsThere will likely be other graphical details turned down on PS4/PS4 Pro. I really hope Digital Foundry does a comparison video because I'm extremely interested to see.
I hope at least one "ACAB" is spoken in the game.Reading now, Miles uses a phone app to track crimes called the Friendly Neighborhood Spider App instead of the police scanner.

I would definitely play Spiderman firstSo as someone who hasn't played Spiderman PS4 yet, does it matter if I start there first or jump right into Miles?
You can jump straight into Miles. Up to you though. So as someone who hasn't played Spiderman PS4 yet, does it matter if I start there first or jump right into Miles?
Yeah, you probably wanna play Spidey PS4/PS5 first if you want context and the origin of MilesSo as someone who hasn't played Spiderman PS4 yet, does it matter if I start there first or jump right into Miles?
Would be hilarious if it turns out exactly like this.Actually 4K/60...nice.
No load times, I have to see this, lol.
Weird that we're on a gaming forum and I'm so surprised to see this comment.
Looks like they did that in the game too, at least the gloves. Can't see his feet in the screenshot. This cover is fantastic. I love how the red pops on his gloves and shoes. Looks almost florescent.
I bet it does or ist a bit more elegant lol

Thanks for your work. If I may ask, can you say if the no loading is like this demo Sony showed?it is. We use temporal injection to create and deliver a 4K image (which then gets tone mapped, and UI applied).

I'll never understand people's insistence on being so down on video games no matter what cool shit is ahead. Why continue in this hobby if it actively makes you miserable?Weird that we're on a gaming forum and I'm so surprised to see this comment.
The subway animations were the best part about fast travelling. Was funny to see all the people just ignoring spider-man texting on his phone lmaoI honestly didn't fast travel in Spider-Man. Cause I had so much fun swinging around. I'll probably use it more this time though. Not having to sit through the transitions when the game changes time of day will be much appreciated though.
