yeah, i have to be that asshole: the rain looks terrible. it really stood out to me.
Yeah it feels both aggressive and intrusive in this small clip at least
too early to tell what it will be like in the final product
You're not an asshole it looks really weird to me too. Idk if it's the bitrate or what.yeah, i have to be that asshole: the rain looks terrible. it really stood out to me.
it also looks kinda bad in the screenshots. You're not an asshole it looks really weird to me too. Idk if it's the bitrate or what.
Yeah I agree with the rain. It stood out like a sore thumb to an otherwise great looking game.yeah, i have to be that asshole: the rain looks terrible. it really stood out to me.
Makes sense, there's no need to greatly alter RE4.Main writer from GI who's a big fan of RE4 OG says this is a lot more faithful than Resi 2 and 3, some scenes are 1 to 1
- There are no dumpsters for Ashley to hide in this time
- Ashley does not have a health bar, but if she's damaged too much she will need to be revived. She'll die if attacked again in this state
- Originally didn't want to do the remake
- Didn't want to start from scratch but rather dial things to 11
- Replayability and Flexibility on how you play were key pillars in development
- No QTES
- You can carry multiple knives (Game can also be beat with Knives Only)
- Laser Sight is an Upgrade, Yellow Herbs are in the game
- Ground Executions can prevent Plagas from forming
- R3 is used to command Ashley (She can follow closely or fall back but will not remain in one place)
- There are no dumpsters for Ashley to hide in this time
- Ashley does not have a health bar, but if she's damaged too much she will need to be revived. She'll die if attacked again in this state
- New Weapon "Bolt Thrower" has been added (Crossbow)
- New Enemy that wields a hammer and wears a bull mask
- More new enemies are also teased by Capcom
- There are sidequests in the game (can be numerous things to do such as fetch quests, puzzles, and more)
- Attache Cases can have perks now such as increasing ammo drops
- You can barricade during the house section like in RE2make
- The game blends Horror and Action very well
Gameinformer was hella impressed and wanted to play more after their time was up.
Saying that thus far, Capcom is nailing its goal here.
what about the krauser knife fight
What about Suplexes tho?- Originally didn't want to do the remake

Nothing mentioned besides the kick. Then again we didn't get the suplex until the castle so maybe that tradition remains.
They were alright, mostly decent if you want lore-related stuff and more story context. One is required if you want access to good l00t.The sidequests I'm a little iffy on, but I'll wait and see, I suppose. How did the Dead Space remake handle them?
all parries baby haha
I don't like that, actually. There's enough voice talent that need roles that they don't need to have the same actor voicing multiple major characters in the same series. Knowing Capcom's history with voice talent this sounds like a cost situation.I'm so glad Nicole Thompkins is a returning RE actor (she was Jill in RE3, one of the villagers in RE8, and Ashley in this). She's great. I hope it's an indication that they'll bring back Jill.
No QTE in the remake of the game that had the best QTEs. Bummer.
Tbh, RE4 is my favourite game but some of QTE's where you had to press two buttons at same time were annoying.

Ashley not having a health bar sucks. The whole point of the game is protecting her! Getting rid of the tension between fighting Ganados and making sure she didn't die was a unique aspect of RE4 smh.
