I can even use the games that got banned from steam and stuff. What a wierd post.

Only annoying thing about digital is the service providers with the data caps...
Gamepass can remove games equals they can remove games from your library? Yeah okay, logic checks out.
Has there been a case where a publishers take your digital game license away before?
I do agree with the online only games though, but it's not a digital-only problem. They will screw everyone when the server is shut down.
I bought both of these on the 360 around a decade ago, and they're both now downloaded and playable on my XBX. So this is incorrect.
And it fucking sucks.
PT wasn't a paid product so it 's EXTREMELY disingenuous to pretend it's similar.
Try snapping a game in half and asking GameStop for a refill.
I really can't believe the lack of comprehension of you people. 🤦‍♂️ It isnt your fault. I blame the public school system.
This is very naive. If that ever happens you'll be dead by then. Nothing will be taken away in your lifetime.
Data should be backed up. I've been going through that process for years.Or you bought a new console because your old one broke, or you wanted a Pro console, or you wanted more hard drive capacity...
don't blame people for disagreeing with your stupid argumentI really can't believe the lack of comprehension of you people. 🤦‍♂️ It isnt your fault. I blame the public school system.
Then you might be having an issue because otherwise this is bollocks mate. All my 360 games that are backwards compatible are sitting there in my ready to install list. So I'm not sure what's your argument here
I mean a rhinoceros could technically break into my house and destroy my collection of physical games
Man, seriously. It's an open question whether our all digital future will implode in our faces first.. or if the rhinos all going extinct will beat it to the punch. My money's on the rhinos. Poor bastards. RIP LifeAsWeKnowIt.
I have it back after a call to MS when it was removed. I don't know what they did.
I like how most people discuss digital as if this is a thing that actually happens.
You can't download the games you already own on your 360?

Every month , just like Netflix, they add and remove games from the service. Publishers can do the exact same to your digital copies. Just plain lock you out of it. Could they do the same for physical? Yes and no. If publishers release an update that bricks your discs, there are ways around that. This is why I hate online only games. Don't get me wrong. Gamepass is a great value if you're into digital and never keep games anyway.
.... Seriously? The name of the service is Xbox Game Pass. Three words. Not one.
OK so your proof is that they can? They can also release an update tomorrow and make your console incapable of playing any physical game. Try harder.
All you guys making fun of the OP really can't think of any reason a publisher would deactivate a game?
Just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it can't. Licences, political shit like with Devotion, trying to sell something new, there could be lot's of reasons.
Personally I don't care much because I don't really replay old games, but acting like this is impossible is just silly....

- "X company remove Y game from store"
- "digital future", "lol", "I'm never going digital", "they are taking my games"
sigh...
