The Last of Us is on another level to God of War in terms of narrative and atmosphere. But God of War has better gameplay.
Like if GoW and BoTW are the same genre? Why compare them though? Not even the same genre smh
A more controversial and hot take topic would be GoW vs BoTW :)
Arent they though?
Arent they though?
GoW can definitely be considered an RPG nowadays.
Exactly this. Last of Us will probably be my favorite story based game for a long time to come.I agree. They're somewhat different games, despite the obvious influence of one upon the other.
Yeah. This is how I feel. I'm still playing God of War, but I'll probably end up liking it more overall because it's more game-like.The Last of Us is on another level to God of War in terms of narrative and atmosphere. But God of War has better gameplay.
I can very easily say GoW is the better game. I'm really interested to see how or if Naughty Dog can marry great gameplay mechanics and the cinematic experience in The Last of Us 2 as well as SMS did in GoW.
Glad you can count.
No they aren'tArent they though?

Good thing you can count

I think God of War and Breath of the Wild are both in the same action/adventure-RPG hybrid genre, to be honest.
God of War is much more fun to play. I can't see myself going back to TLoU after one playthrough, just like other recent Naughty Dog games.
GameSpot just resort to whatever clickbaiting is necessary to hold on to clicks. They've tried just about every trick in the book (they even absorbed GameFAQs as a sub-domain just to try and keep traffic up).
They're definitely more similar to each other in that action adventure RPG elements genre we have nowadays. Only thing similar with TLOU and GoW is that they're both third person.
I don't think so. Go ahead and let whatever you want out ;p
Well, it's not like TLoU is a forgettable experience, I don't agree with the comparison though, I find them pointless. Is this really a fair comparison when GoW just came out and is fresh in peoples minds?
Yeah.I agree. They're somewhat different games, despite the obvious influence of one upon the other.
