Eh Noe is just looking to shock people, he's going to always hate the shit other people are into.

I don't know if he's ever blown my mind with his movies, but he definitely has an idea and a point...he makes very cohesive movies for how incomprehensible they are.

I do wish there were more directors like him, but wish that they could stomach mainstream sensibilities and actually make something that doesn't have to pretend to be repulsive in a way that makes it seem like the filmmaker is completely oblivious to why what they are filming might be off-putting.

This is the first thing that I said...da fuck? Where was there R&B music during the movie (and no I'm not including "All The Stars" playing during the credits at the end)

EDIT: It's fine for him not to care about blockbuster movies, many people don't, but IDK how you can read that "R&B music" line and say "well he doesn't like R&B music, what's the problem?"...There is no R&B music in the first 20 minutes of Black Panther....

The only movie i've seen of his is Irréversible and based off that I wouldn't expect this guy to have the most mainstream tastes himself. The movie was pretty damn good though.
