Following Keighley’s twitter over the years gives me the impression that he’s one of these “the middle is a great place to be” types anyway so he’s really never gonna drop Boogie.
yeah, was thinking the same. A lot of the youtubers picked to be there seems... weird? Like, i fail to see what Willyrex for example can bring to the table, but the dude moves tons of people.
Yup, with Ubisoft as the only "worth" conference to them, and Sony no showing, they ain't gonna bother this year with 2 days.
I still feel a bit baffled wherever I hear about someone who makes a living playing games for people on the internet. Don't think I'll ever be able to fully "get it". I'm old.
Watched the Stadia bit earlier. Phil came off as really bitter over a few of those questions. It was funny to watch it start as the PR of “gamers save so much money by not buying hardware” to “there’s costs on top of costs, none of the supposed discounts are guaranteed, and you don’t actually own your content.” Repeating “they’re just links” was like a kiss of death.
I don't find it that hard to grasp. Watching others play games (sports) has been a national pastime for hundreds of years..
And it isn't really about the games, it is about personalities. Do you ever watch a Late Night show? Or a talk show? A podcast? It's the same.
Only been there to watch that appearance of Petrie, now swapped over to GameSpot instead. Cause fuck Boogie. :|
Whenever Geoff is interviewing someone he has this look on his face like he's thinking "ok, please stop talking", which is enhanced by the little "uh-huh"s and "yeah"s he interjects. But that's just him I guess. He's cool.

He does kind of seem like he's just checking off a list. It's a lot of work he does so it's understandable.

This looks absolutely beautiful, just like their previous games. And no way in hell I'm experiencing it on a tiny phone screen.

Wow, Sky looks great. Was it announced during this reveal if it would hit consoles eventually? It looks like an experience better had on a larger screen than phone / tablet.
