Definitely not Evil Within 3 but the game looks amazing from the trailer alone.
The designs for the various enemies/NPCs are fascinating and I can’t wait for more info.

I'm curious as to which engine technology this is running on. Same with Deathloop. Both studios previously used custom forks of idTech 5, but I'm curious as to whether they kept diverging or if they've tried to standardize the engine tech between Bethesda secondary studios again.

Why is Mikami in the title when he doesn't direct it.

I'm glad he remained true to his word that he will never direct again

Amazingly atmospheric trailer, really curious to see some gameplay. Nakamura is awesome, too - it's exciting to see a woman directing, not to mention she's a fantastic artist.

The imagery is off the fucking chain. Is there a gif of that demon to ramen scene? Also, everyone referring to her as "yo that japanese girl...", check yoselves.

Easily the game I'm most excited for out of E3 so far. I fucking love Mikami's work and I'm excited that he's fostering people to make stuff like this.

Even though it is CGI, still love the visuals and direction. Especially this transition

That Ramen made me hungry...

Looks like an intriguing concept, too bad we haven't seen any glimpse of gameplay. Better be coming to all platforms.

Trailer looked quite nice, and new IP is always exciting.

Now... next step is some gameplay to give me an idea of what the game actually is about.

That noodle soup may be supposed to look ugly like the hamburger in RE2 intro since it has the perfect instant ramen texture in liquid and ramen from an unnatural MSG soup

And people floating in the air and dissappearing is the new trend from Prey, Death Stranding, Control?

This looks very intriguing, i just hope we won't have to wait another year to see how it plays.

Also John Johanas isn't directing so i guess i can keep hoping for TEW3 to exist at some point...

texture pop-in
horrible performance @ 4k even with a 2080ti and an insane cpu
the fullscreen mode is borderless not real fullscreen

Texture pop-in its because of the engine, nothings broken "on pc". I just youtubed the game at 4k with a 2080ti and it was 60 locked on the video.

I thought there were some pc specific issues when you said it was broken on pc. Its the premier version of both games to play, regardless

love the tone of this trailer, and it had great imagery too. as far as CG announcement trailers go, this is about as good as it gets.

Nakamura is amazing and if this is a great game, I think she has the potential to become a household (for enthusiasts like Era) name on the level of a Kamiya or a Miyazaki.

I just got done saying in another thread how im not a fan of CGI trailers typically. This was my favorite thing from E3 this year. Love the weird.

Likewise. I think what helps sell it to me at least is the incredible art direction, which is likely thanks to Nakamura, as though while she probably wouldn't be able to actively hands-on design much in her current role, she'd be overseeing the overall look and feel that the character/creature/environment artists under her are working towards.

This looks amazing. All of it.

The idea of a sprawling modern Tokyo mixed with Japanese mythology is just perfect. Nakamura is ex-Clover/Platinum and worked on Okami, so I'm definitely interested in whatever this is.

Good question. Bethesda has been all over the place with MachineGames, Tango, Id Software, and Arkane. They've done well when not using IdTech 5 and it's offshoots (Void & STEM). The Unreal 3, Unreal 4, CryEngine, and IdTech 6 games all run cleanly (especially the latter). Void eventually became serviceable after a lot of patching.

Fucking awesomely freaky visuals in that trailer and damn the short blurb about conspiracy theories and urban fantasies sounds exciting. Very much looking forward to seeing more of this.
