Maybe near-end Old West, as seen by the High Powered Pistol in RDR, but RDR2 is a prequel, they really shouldn't be in the game.

Those are semi-auto pistols that would use a magazine - you can see the top part recoiling and leaving the barrel exposed at the end. Also, spent cartridges flying. Mulit-shot pistols in the old west were revolvers.
