In a 2011 pod, Vinny was downright indignant towards the thought of a re-released Zelda game (OoT for the 3DS). He didn't like that it wasted a development slot, essentially. Jeff straight-up refused to play it, for fear that it might taint his memory of the original. Brad liked it and I think Ryan did, too.
Really, contrasting their whole attitude, 2011-to-now, is kinda fascinating. There's a different one where they're talking about the Team Bondi fallout and are uniformly pro-union; their response to Rockstar's workplace stuff last year was a LOT more tepid. And there's a different pod where Brad (and the others) are in favour of a single-save Bethesda RPGs (after talking about how irritating it was to rollback saves to play DLC in Fallout: New Vegas). Their general thoughts about the state of the industry (there's a lot of talk about used games) and its future (a general sentiment for always-online, as something 'necessary'.) are really fun to hear given how things turned out.
Their treatment of developers is also fascinating. They loved L.A. Noir and treated it like a full Rockstar game, with no real knowledgement that it was made by Team Bondi until after that news broke. For the entire time they're playing L.A. Noire it's referred to and contrasted with Rockstar's own games. I feel like nowadays there's a lot more awareness about which studio made what, and appropriate expectations because of that.
2011 pods are a riiiide.
Edit: Oh, I forgot about Patrick's adventures with his arcade cabinet. Their arcade talks are super interesting.
