I wonder if Dan will hate it because it's slow and pondering like RDR2 or if his adoration for Kojima will get him to ignore that.
On the contrary, people said the same thing about his last game, and MGSV's trailers and lead-up suggested something batshit fucking crazy and spawned a million wild theories...then the game was just a third person open-world stealth action game with stilted dialogue and Kojima's oddities dashed on here and there. Until the broken second part, it was fairly straightforward.
It felt like they were one of the few AAA equipped studios that was independent and seemed to be in a relatively decent financial situation. Also they were doing some interesting stuff with oculus.
