Now that you love control why not some nice reading to help you fall asleep
Simpsons were ruined for me a few weeks back after that foot story about Groening on the pedophile plane hit the mainstream news. Gross
Dan is doing another episode of Talking Simpsons. I'm a patreon supporter so I get the episode a week early but I figure you all would want to know. $5 ain't much to support a good podcast.
I feel ya. I have been dog sitting and it is super quiet and boring here. It's 1:25 AM
My insomnia has struck me
I am house sitting for my uncle, they have a dog and cat. I am away from home for the first time in a long time.
I hope I get some sleep
Yep.The humor in BL3 sounds fucking terrible but I think that Ben is not in a position to critic the humor in any media ever...
That uh...that one action scene halfway through the movie is maybe the best thing in the entire John Wick series.
JW1 is the best movie, clearly, but that elaborate (what felt like) ten minute sequence of Jon and Hally Berry and two German Shepards murdering a bunch of stuntment wearing middle-eastern disguises was so good. In a series that does good work with direction I've never seen better action direction incorporating animals. That shit was crazy.Elaborate, because I can't think of which scene you are talking about.
I love John Wick 1 as a stand-alone movie. 2 and 3 I think are fantastic action sequences with completely throwaway plot with literally zero emotional investment in anything that is happening.
Yes, it was really good action direction for ten minutes, incorporating animals in a really impressive way that movies haven't done before.Like the first minute of it was cool, then it just repeated the same shit for 10 minutes.
The first one was really good at that, actually. It was at least half grappling. Since then they've been pretty sloppy.I always thought the grappling and striking looked sloppy in every John Wick movie. The gun fights are top notch though.
Larian breached Valve for you, derFeef. Do not reject their sacrifice!I should stop buying the same games for Switch AND PC.
I like playing on Switch (and have out-of-house option) but if I have the option I rather paly on PC.
I can't make any game progress that way.
If I would want to play that, yeah :DLarian breached Valve for you, derFeef. Do not reject their sacrifice!
I actually would want to. But it's too big of a game for me. At least right now.If you don't want to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 then we are from now on enemies.
I noticed because of a tweet from this thread.

THat's how you should treat every human anyway.
I'm sorry?

Almost my entire commute was filled with the Bombcast's BL3 talk and that was the most I've been into the Bombcast in a very, very long time. The actual games talk of the podcast is SO much better when multiple people (in this case everyone) have played the game. Normally I find that to be the worst part of both podcasts because it's rare that they have all played the same game or the game is interesting enough to have a long discussion about, and not just a breakdown of "this is what the game is".
It's almost always bad. What strikes me is that when the same thing happens on the Waypoint podcast and one person played a game, they usually still do a good job of talking about the game in an interesting way, and not just break down what it is. I don't know if it's a matter of preparation or if it's just that very few people are as eloquent as Austin or Rob, but the games talk on both GB pods really needs a shot in the arm.I haven't gotten into that part yet but the fact that almost no one plays the same games and those sections (in both podcasts) amount to just one person talking about a game have been one of the worst aspects of the podcasts for a while. There's no interesting conversations to be bad when no one plays the same games.
shame the one everyone plays is Borderlands...
Ben describing Control and spoiling the hell out of it was really something. It's almost always bad. Bully Bakalar strikes againThe worst part of either podcast is when Vinny starts talking about a game and everyone else (jokingly) reacts in the most dismissive way and Vinny stumbles through talking about it. Happened with Remnant, and again with Greedfall. I know it's meant to be a goof but it's a bit annoying because I barely got any idea what Greedfall was coming from that conversation.
Thankful Austin played it.
