Is Blacklist good? I've never played it because it seemed like such a departure from Splinter Cell but this video makes it look pretty fun.
They said Nintendo should give Paper Mario to IntSys. As if that would ever happen.
Yeah, it's pretty good.
You can play it as a "real" stealth game as well but it is kinda easy because you get basically unlimited ammo so you can just tranq people left and right if you want. I played it only using the tranq gun very sparingly and had a ton of fun with it.
Edit: You can obviously also play it as a straight up action game which is also fun
Best stealth action game ever, IMO. As to difficulty and approach you can kinda do whatever you want. It makes a ton of smart decisions about scoring and enemy awareness and yes, it lets you execute some extremely cool things with a little bit of planning.
It's the best Splinter Cell game and an amazing stealth action game in its own rights.

BioWare circling the drain is certainly a thing, but these other things are far bigger than just a couple studios losing their way, as great as they once were.
Gameplay wise it's fun and fine, everything else fucking sucks. The buddy sidekick Briggs was awful and the story was almost as forgettable as Double Agent. I also remember the Blacklist mode (Spies Vs Mercs) being so disappointing compared to Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theories.

It is very good and it also has a very overlooked co-op mode. Not only does the co-op have its own story but it ends in a pretty great way.

It's weird how time can simultaneously feel like the years are passing you by so rapidly fast yet also something that happened just in February of this year feels like it was ancient history.

Now that I think more about it, I misremembered. Conviction is the one that had the awesome co-op ending but Blacklist was not bad at all gameplay wise. Dual executions were a lot of fun.
This spongebob game is alright but doesn't really need a full playthrough, there's lots of better games they haven't played.
