I think they are using total time played and including time played in 2018 or earlier because there is no way I played nearly 70 hours of RDR2 in 2019.

For what it's worth, if the game has one weakness (aside from the multiplayer) is that the last quarter or third is mostly superfluous. It's samey areas with samey enemies. They kinda stopped doing new things after awhile.
Still super fun! But if you've played half of it you got the point.
I don't think they are because my total playtime time for AC Odyssey is more than what they listed for my time played in 2019.

I've been playing it since the PS3 fairly regularly, and just this year I discovered there's a castle level. I've never "properly" beat it either.
Someday, pal. Castle level is neat. You ever try the worm level? I still never finished the worm level.
a few times. It's like, as much as I play it I don't really get into any of the speed run/eggplant run stuff, or look anything up, it's just a destressor/podcast game for me. Sort of feels like I've been able to keep the experience pure for myself.

I recently broke $1 million in Spelunky and fell into a funk where I didn't play the daily challenge, but a few days off cleared my head and let me set new goals. I just play the Daily at this point, and that's enough.
Yup. Bought 2016 after GB raved about it and it's just not fun for me
DOOM 2016 is alright, it's no DOOM though

DOOM 2016 went on way too long. I liked it, but definitely not as much as everyone else seemed to. I'm hoping Eternal brings something new to it, otherwise...
