Ah OK. So Shenmue 3 PS4 codes were from Kisckstarter. What about STar Wars? Liek I said before Retailers can't get PS4 codes anymore. Do we know the source of those?
The star wars full game giveaway is on Xbox. The only PS4 giveaways were pre-order bonuses.
It sounds like these situations have been answered. Bear in mind that devs also get some keys to their games, so someone giving away a PS4 code could have gotten a code that way.

That could be it. I got a physical copy but I'd always intended to give it away. I only backed Shenmue for the fans and had no personal interest in it. Others might have done the same.
Haven't experienced any choppiness, but I'm gonna move it to the internal drive to be safe.

Sure, why not. I played a bit of Shenmue on the DC, but need to play it in full via HD Collection since it's only $15 for Black Friday. If anything, if I somehow win, that'll motivate me to pick up the collection.
