I'd bet folding money that the last 7 seconds of this video is the console start-up sound.
It's a cool sound.I'd bet folding money that the last 7 seconds of this video is the console start-up sound.

LMAOHey John it's almost time for the big event do you have the final draft of that research regarding if people want a Google console?
...Uhm yeah it's at my desk I'll be right back *runs to desk and sends out a survey as he starts to panic*
As someone who is into the gaming scene in general, I'm just excited a new challenger is entering the ring in earnest (or appears to be). Sure we've had other contenders, but none as exciting as Google. I was hopeful about Amazon for a second there, but idk what's up with them now.Gotta admit, I've been out of the console scene since last gen but that teaser got me kinda hyped.
Legit curious.
Whatever it is they'll probably discontinue it a few years later because Google gotta Google
As much as I want to believe Google is in it for the long haul, I don't think they'd do this.I wonder if take 2 rumouts about sony are actually google. A new system with exclusive GTA would destroy sony and microsoft day 1.
This, competition is good.As someone who is into the gaming scene in general, I'm just excited a new challenger is entering the ring in earnest (or appears to be). Sure we've had other contenders, but none as exciting as Google.
If it is a new console... damn.. and I hope it twice faster than xboxx one x. People here will go crazy.
Yes, that would totally make sense to announce merely months after their game streaming service.
I know for a fact from friends who work at Google that it's not a traditional console.
Yeah, the new one(s) they'll announce on Tuesday.Does Google own any development studios like how Amazon owns Double Helix?
Global saturation. So what games announcements can we expect from this conference?

2-3 mass market titles of differing genre that won't be out for the console's release and fade into the night, just like Amazon. So what games announcements can we expect from this conference?

well Splinter Cell has been rumored since that E3 Walmart leak and Ubisoft seems to be a big partner with Google, so maybe a reveal trailer for that?So what games announcements can we expect from this conference?
I'll scream if Outrun 3 is announced but this is a streaming only box. You'll be able to hear me from here. It won't be pleasant.

If its just a streaming box and a controller I will spray paint myself green live on stream.
That's all a negative unfortunatelyI wonder if take 2 rumouts about sony are actually google. A new system with exclusive GTA would destroy sony and microsoft day 1.
"not a traditional console" doesn't necessarily mean a streaming box. A box with good hardware that runs full android (and its apps) wouldn't be a traditional console but it would be a proper local box to play games on.
Probably going to be a streaming box that works well with Google fibre for gaming.

This is getting interesting..If its just a streaming box and a controller I will spray paint myself green live on stream.
I think it's too early for AC considering how, seemingly, they're not releasing a game this tear (unless you mean Odyssey being announced for whatever Google does).

This is a straight up ouya to me until I see it and it has actually full ass games on it
Wild guess. It's a more advanced Switch. Android streaming on the go, plus you can dock it and use a regular controller on a TV. Also handheld device has the Pixel 3 camera in it, so you can take images/videos and it all syncs like Google.
The Xbox is basically a Windows box at this point. I don't think they'll be aiming for $400+ hardware."not a traditional console" doesn't necessarily mean a streaming box.
