You can always re-read the story later at least. I did that for Ladiva's story to get the dailies done ASAP before reset.
You need to Uncap a summon or weapon 3 times for it to reach level 100, otherwise it's capped at level 40. One is used for keeping, and the other three are just uncap material.
Going to hold my opinion on the story so far since it's only half way done.
I'm happy that all the units are SSR and their uncap artwork is so pretty as well.

Those only exist as ways to raise the level of your stuff. You can feed them freely to whatever you want. There is also the chalice at the bottom- you can send those items there as well.thanks, and second question: i have 10 pages of this and its becoming a problem:

Raising weapon SKILL levels is a different thing which is generally more important than raising the actual level of the weapon. If you aren't familiar with this, I implore you to read the wiki page https://gbf.wiki/Raising_Weapon_Skills
Just use them to upgrade any weapon that seems useful, also there is an option to automatically absorb them in EXP potions that do not take inventory space. i am eager to know a way to farm thousands of those tokens -__-
so far the fastest way for me was to grind 15ap hard mission for 5 tokens, you can finish it under a minute

So, I've been casually "playing" GBF for a while (mostly just logging in from time to time, Drawing and doing a few story chapters), but haven't really commited to it since it looks near impenetrable mechanically. However, after logging in and seeing a CG event going on I now have to get these characters, I already missed P5's event so I really don't want to miss this one. Basically, my question is: how do I get all the event characters and any possible materials/weapons they might need in order to be leveled/ascended? Bear in mind I have no idea how events work in this game so try to explain it to me in simple terms, please lol
You get Lelouch by completing the entire event story, but the remaining chapters won't be available until the 19th in Japan (right now you can only get up to Stage 4.5). For Kallen, she joins you after completing the Event story up to Stage 4.5. For Suzaku, you have to purchase him in the shop using materials farmed from the event. For materials, just play the Special Quests for the event over and over doing the hardest difficulty you can do (easily) for more material drops (you may get CC and the rare gun to drop on Extreme and higher difficulties).
Once you get the 3 characters, the materials needed to uncap them are the same for any other normal SSR character/there are no materials specific to this event needed. If you want to fully uncap the Rare Gun and/or CC to 4 stars, you will need materials from the event as well.
Some crossovers have went into sidestories but this one will probably be a one time thing.
Majority of big collaborations have been a one time thing so far. With rare exceptions of few like PriConne being an IP they own.

i made a smart decision of leveling hawkeye first, so i can get 5 medallions from 15ap mission everytime instead of 2-3
not being able to do nightmare sucks, i cant get a single drop of CC or gun

The content added besides Lelouch and the additional chapters will be more difficult missions under Special Quests (Extreme+, another Manic mission, Nightmare 120, etc...) with better drop rates. If you can run the Very Hard and up solo missions, CC and guns have a chance of dropping there.

testing it on Shiva just to see how well she fare, but ended up soloing it. This is my first magna 2 solo and before i never solo 50% on any element. Her passive Justice Reversed work wonder to sustain long battle until it reach 40%hp. After that Altair died and stupidly i don't have any single debuffer left (MC only bring Dispel, Gravity and Chaser). And since Maria is in front, Justice Reversed can't be used anymore and 40-0% is done without single debuff except "Unrigtheousness".
One thing that is still on my mind, the wiki said her S3 is full hp, but when i used it kinda only heal for about 6000 or something. Not sure whether there is another prerequisite to guarantee full hp heal or not, but that is still concerning since the requirement to use her s3 is demanding as well (Edit : after asking at Discord, turns out it is because Shiva field effect that reduce healing).
all in all, she is very good for very long battle and solo.
PS : and of course this whole thing is impossible without Lily. Raising Lily tier to 9.5 is totally warranted.

okay i need help with weapon grids. not with what to build as information is plentiful, but how to utilize what i currently have.
i am at a point where i have an alright wind team. is it the point where i stop pushing autoselect and manually pick all the wind weapons into the grid? does the element atk worth more than raw atk?
obivously wind skills matter too but i am not sure how to pick from raw attack difference between shitty SR wind weapon and high atk SSR but foreign element with useless skill

I'm pretty sure that on-element SR magna weapon with skill level 10 is stronger than off-element SSR weapon with high ATK.
But that means you have to raise the skill level a weapon that you won't use in the next few month.
While it is not 100% accurate, the in-game damage calculator is decent enough for most people, just remember to pick your friend summon in the calculation.
Generally, you want to pick the items for your grid yourself. You should get a 3* uncapped Tiamat Gun for beating Tiamat in the story (chapter 5 I think?), and that should be the first thing in your grid
Summon fodder is less common than weapon fodder, yeah. In the long run it becomes clear that weapon fodder is a much more valuable resource.
Congrats! Unlocking those arcarum characters is such a pain but at least you get a super strong summon in the process. Seems like his gameplay needs a bit to get used to but also looks like he's really good. Now you probably lost any motivation to run arcarum for a long while, lol. It happened to me after unlocking an evoker.
TBH, I think if you missed out on the era where you could use bots for Casino, it's really not worth engaging with. Christina would be a mediocre SR character if she was released today, and the need to get the 200 Gun stones is lowered significantly by the existance of M2 (meaning you don't need to uncap a half dozen Tia Guns anymore), and the fact that we have way more free guns in the game now and get free gacha pulls a lot more often. Anat is way out of date, the costumes are -ok- if you use those characters, but otherwise it's not worth doing more than to get Anima and half pots early in the game. Casino is a cancer.
I binged Code Geass leading up to this event and can confirm its great (it's on Netflix).
Grats on getting him, heard that Cain has a pretty interesting kit.
Feels like the only thing I look forward to when Magnafest rolls in is the double ticket due to how slow farming Arcarum can be without it.
For real? After doing the event so far, I have been itching to rewatch Code Geass. Looks like I know what I'm binge watching next.

I seriously hope they will announce a new difficulty for Arcarum during the summer stream or permanent double tix. Anything that improves the time gating. The 30k points for event reruns and collab events helps a lot. Though we barely got any event reruns during the last months. Last one was Lily?
As terrible as casino is, it's still worth to get some chips for the steel bricks and moonstones required for some upgrades in the future. I guess you can get the steel bricks from events if you're patient, but I got into a drought of those last month by making a bunch of things at the same time.
About arcarum, I think I lost my motivation because I need 245 astra's for my next evoker, on top of that I'll need to buy the evolite with Guild Wars pendants and that's gonna take me the whole year of playing solo.

Was it the Lily one? When we got 30k points, I was alright with the grind because I thought it would be the norm. But it wasn't and I became sad. We'll see I guess during their next stream.

Expending nearly two Sunlight Stones worth of valor for the second evoker is worse than the material grind and time gates.
I am focusing in getting all 10% seraphic attack summons before the evokers so it will take me a long time (I have 2 10% and 4 at 7%).

Finding another way to get us sunlight stones (just... make it like Dama and give us "trade 10 pieces for 1 stone" and make them event rewards) would be my first fix, followed by putting Arca Tickets in the daily log-in bonus instead of Rupees after a point (say, rank 100?). Like, I'm going to have 2 Evokers at the end of the Next GW... and then I feel like I'm at minimum a year away from my next one just because I haven't even started anything else.
i am playing it at work so i dont mind, i actually find poker fun.
and i dont have anything better than Anat, that is my primary goal for now.
Same. I'll get the summons first since I'm already pretty satisfied with most of my teams. And maybe by the time I'm done the evokers won't cost so much anymore (or they will give us more sources of astras and arcapoints).
cant decide if i wnat to get tower or sun next. Caim was the only one I wanted based on looks.
Thank you! Are CC and the gun worth going for? The most I can reliably handle is Extreme and it looks like it'd take forever to grab all 4 copies of each. My team isn't exactly optimal for farming, a single run takes around 5 minutes. :P

A fully uncapped CC and gun would be useful since you're just starting out, but there's plenty of other summons/weapons you can get from the main quest/side stories at your own pace.
I'd wait in regards to team building for a specific element until you have more SSR characters for either Wind, Water, Fire, or Earth. But the Gabriel and Hamsa summons have good Elemental Attack boosting auras to start Water and Wind teams with respectively.
i just unlocked arcanum and have a question (actually 2):
if i reach checkpoint and use it i cant fucking go back since it wasted my badge? :E
wtf is this i thought it'll just save my progress and let me continue
so i either save and waste a badge or risk it and go without? or whats the point of saving
and since i got 10k points from event, should i instantly buy SSR weapons from shop? or its not worth it? i kinda want monika too
