Lol, isn't this the game that was announced at TGS coupe of years ago? Like a mobile dev going on consoles? Didn't know this was developed by PG.

Oh smh at myself. I thought it was leaked for sure because of the way you recorded it in low quality. I guess I'm too excited for nothing, lol.
That looked pretty damn good. Im not expecting Bayonetta levels of depth but that seemed fun and flashy.

Unfortunately, that's because it was on Nico Nico. Nico Nico is a terribly bad livestream platform, but Japanese developers insist on using it for some form of weird inertia :(
Looks like it leans slightly more towards RPG than I'd prefer, but my interest in it is as a Platinum game rather than as a Granblue game. It's not a surprise given that it's an RPG series.
Pretty interesting though.

Time to watch~ Granblue's universe is custom made for a nice RPG. Hope its a lengthy game I can sink my teeth in.

Looks pretty good. Can't wait to see more. Love how the fire effect looks for some of the attacks.
Incidentally, for those who don't know Granblue Fantasy, it's probably the best JRPG available on smartphones at the moment. It's built by Final Fantasy veterans, fully voiced, with an enormous ongoing story (which is actually really good), and music by Nobuo Uematsu.
I believe you play as the primary characters out of Granblue, so these should be a good chunk of the options:
I know literally nothing bout Granblue Fantasy (aside from being exposed to a bunch of... fanart) but I need this now.
I don't care if the source material is completely foreign to Western markets, most of us just want to see what Platinum does with a full on RPG. I can't imagine it wouldn't be worth it to give us English text and a PS4/PC digital release.

I am surprised at the tech in the demo, I guess PG had some hand it that.

My understanding is that the English language option in Granblue is for the region 3 Asian audience, so I don't think it'd be that surprising if there were an English version even if they don't publish it in the west.
A few months ago Cygames invested an estimated 10-12 million euros per year for three years to become the official sponsor of a major European football team. I can't imagine that they did that for any other reason than increasing their brand recognition before launching more, if not all, of their games globally.
