Yes. Uninstalled Steam client from my tablet the other day, and all my purchased Steam games disappeared as well, and that included Grandia 2 Anniversary. Less intrusive gaming ftw!
Grandia 1 & 2 is the only game created by takeshi miyaji the creator of this series its look perfect to these two he was not with us anymore, and 3 was by his brother yoichi miyaji (he also the CEO of game arts).
This was one of my favorite Saturn games. I can't wait to finally beat it in English. The Digital Museum disc is actually right above my desk now....well all my Saturn games are but it's right in front of me.
I didn't think they were going to do anything else for Grandia II on PC and were just going to release the first game, but the wording seems to indicate they are either updating it or releasing a new version? AFAIK it had a few significant bugs that needed to be ironed out.
I'm expecting digital only with no English VA for SSG, and they've been working on it for almost a year now. So I'm at least expecting a release date at E3 and sometime before the Fall rush at that.
Should show it off in the Direct, followed with "Get your hands on Grandia HD Collection when it releases on the Nintendo eShop right after this Direct! Followed by a retail release on July 9th!"

Eclectic Enemy Encounters - The worlds of GRANDIA and GRANDIA II bring forth a plethora of challenging and epic enemies in the wild, as well as main storyline bosses
Cool, maybe I'll manage to finally play Grandia 1 past
the part where you reach The Wall at the End of the World or whatever it was called.
I started the game over like four times and that's always when I lose interest and never come back. No particular reason, I don't recall there being a super hard boss there or anything. I just peter out there for some reason. I recall being super hyped because this was back in the day when it was super common for JRPGs that didn't get released outside Japan to be automatically put on a pedestal by weeaboo wannabe types. I remember reading GameFan's review of the JP version of Grandia and practically whipping off to it like it was porn. When it finally got localized in North America on Playstation... yeah, it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Between that and Lunar, I soon found that Working Designs* JRPGs just weren't my cup of tea. Way too cheerful and upbeat for my tastes.
I had no problem finishing Grandia 2 on Dreamcast. I recall the lead character was pretty edgy. =P
Curious to see what Grandia 1 looks like. I played it on Vita and it was absolutely beautiful, I hope it's not a 'smooth' mess in an attempt to look more moder. The original sprites are great.
I'll get this solely for Grandia 2 which I'm sure will look good, all they have to do is up Rez it, the original character models have some nice charm to them.
About time, looking forward to both for the Switch. I have fond memories of Grandia II back on the Dreamcast as it is one of the few JRPGS I actually played.
