Isn't agar made of algae? Should be good to go.
Please report back if you use this

I'm pretty sure he interviewed a guy from my town about his alien dildos, while also wearing a chest harness.

The alien dildo guy is a regular at my work

First time I've felt nerd was thrown around as if it was the equivalent of normie. Furry culture I guess, everyone else seems normal at that point.
I'm calling you a nerd because you're running around with a Hajime no Ippo avatar on a video game forum and simultaneously thinking you have high ground to shit on furries.

Context aside I don't really get how showing a gelatin egg up your ass is any more confusing than a string of beads
Well, in defense of beads, the person themself or a partner has some control and manipulation of the beads in the vagina or anus, I had a partner that actually liked them pulled out at the moment they came because it enhanced their experience.

on the other hand if you or anyone else wants to shove gelatin eggs in themselves and it's not causing bodily harm you do you or they them, or hell have an egg insertion party the more the merrier.

Yeah see I'm cool with that. I guess nowadays reading comics or putting furry costumes meowing, purring and roaring, there's just no difference. Be yourself, be a lion if you want! ROAR Simba, roar.

First off, Simba is a lion, not a tiger. You can't be sarcastic and wrong.

Second, there are actually massive differences between the furries and gamers. Furries don't call me a nigger or call out my gender when I want to hang with them.

Don't you think that's also probably due to a massive difference in sheer numbers? There'll always be less potential pain if you enclosed yourself in smaller venues/places.

It's not the escapism part that I don't understand mind you, it's the furry part. I was being too insensitive, and I apologies for that.

Looking back, it's wild that my views on furries have evolved over the years. As of right now I'm accepting of them, but I don't think I'm comfortable enough to go to a furcon myself.

One day maybe, but not right now.

Ye what I'm saying is, it's 2020 and I feel like we've had enough time to establish that putting stuff inside you feels good. Like I don't think there's much of a line between a silicone dildo and a jelly egg or beads.

No.

The primary make up of the furry fandom is largely LGBT people. Following from that there are large, open continents of women and ethnic minorities there as well. I imagine women are pretty sizeable, equalling or outnumbering men.

Naturally, being minorities and part of a fandom that is simultaneously grassroots in origin, openly about self expression, and heavily derided, has created a largely welcoming space that seems inherently impervious to having a Gamergate moment. Socialist and leftist factions like antifa are far more open and common. The odd Trumper will get their soul roasted, online and in public. Because fuck em.

Meanwhile, gaming has been cultivated as a space for straight white men to thrive, both by developers and players. The environment is decidedly conservative, at most delusional centrism where "staving off politics to focus on games" inevitably means "shitting on black people and women without being shamed for it." Guarantee you some shit-eater always has something to say to me in Overwatch, either because I'm in voice comms or because I play a black character.

I've been to many a furry convention and never felt like I was out of my comfort zone, in suit or out. I go to ONE fucking Xbox One expo and I'm hit with "girls can't play games."

You can't even claim it's the size because the demographics shouldn't be following the absolute shitshow that is the gaming fandom. Women make up about half of gamers, and I imagine by sheer international demographics most gamers are actually Asian and black. But the bigotry remains impenetrable.

Look at it this way: one of the most popular gamers right now is a black, non-binary furry. That isn't a coincidence. It's because furrydom was and continues to be gatekept by open and proud minorities. Gaming fucking sucks in comparison because I can't even exist as black or a woman (or both, in one harrowing instance) without some dickturd trying to put me in my place. So any gamer trying to act like they have any high ground on furries can go piss up a rope. You all have nothing to stand on.

As for the furry part, what is not to get? Animals are cool. Art is cool. Cosplay and mascots are cool. Being sex-positive is cool. That's all there is to it. There is nothing to rationalize.

5 pages in, and we now have how many furries coming out?

Just another fucked up weird hobby in the life of some resetera members I guess..

*gasp* I'm drawing art and meeting up with long-time friends! We might even order pizza to our hotel room. What an awful way to spend a weekend.

They can be pretty fun. A con is what you make of it.

If you wanna learn a hobby, there's probably a panel for it.

If you wanna dance, you can dance all night.

It's a very accepting group, as you can imagine. I'm spoiled by several furry cons and have big doubts about finding such a welcoming environment at an anime convention.

Oh I agree, you just gave me an opening to talk about beads in a topic appropriate way and I had to take the opportunity since it doesn't come often, I have no actual problem with your post I quoted.

Just go to a convention to get drunk and/or high at a room party. That's like half the reason to go.

i'm no stranger to cons in general, believe me; i've seen things late at night that i still wish i hadn't at regular anime cons

i dunno, i probably just need to do more self-analyzing

While playing board games and video games and socialising and all that stuff. \o/

Convention anxiety does go away. Once you realise and feel you're in a safe place, it's much easier to socialise. <3

The only times I have gotten drunk in my entire life were at furry cons.

I didnt know you werent supposed to have half a large glass of japanese whiskey(43% iirc) at once okaaaaayyyyy

That said even then I don't get drunk much. I like going to hang with my friends, eat more junk food than I should, go to some meet-ups maybe, and look at all the awesome fursuits.

For Beef tho I would recommend looking for a SFW furry group on Discord for a topic he is interested in (e.g. Digimon) and go from there. Cons are a lot funner if you actually know some folks haha

i wish i could enjoy social events but i am unable to, even if friends are around, even if i use enough drugs to almost pass out, theres nowhere on the spectrum of being in a group of more than two that ever gets better

ah well, maybe someday

I'm no social butterfly either but somehow conventions turn me into a different person. It's fun watching the crowds and learning about new niches.

I wake up early and party into the night. By the end of the day, I've made several new friends and finessed my way into a room party.

I don't know if anime cons have con suites but there's typically soda and light snacks there.

I said the underlined on twitter once in response to something and Jesus Christ people were not having it. Once the tweet got some traction the gamer bros started to flood my mentions with vitriol. they even @'d some semi-prominent woman to come in and refute my claim. Aside from the hate fueled insults thrown at me, their general consensus was that "girls play phone games and that means they cannot be gamers. therefor, games are made for boys, as they should be."

I've been in 2 major twitter meltdowns now and both have been connected to video games. The amount of gate-keeping and virulent opposition to any sort of change or inclusiveness in gaming is mind boggling.

granted it's been several years since the last time i went to an anime con (i think AX '09 was my last one, unless you count EVO as a convention which I wouldn't fault you for nowadays), but i don't remember there being general con suites that were open for everyone. i did have a different friend group in general back then though.

if we're counting EVO, then yeah i read you loud and clear since i'm exactly the same way. a full weekend of playing fighting games and being on the lookout for a wild Yoshinori Ono? hell yes i'm gonna go each year that i can.

At MFF I just hung out with a couple Japanese guys most of the time TBH.

Way different than what I planned.

I went to MFF in 2015 with my boyfriend, I didn't have that great of a time to be honest. I had a good time with boyfriend, but that was about it. I'm incredibly shy and didn't do that much, just way too many people there for me.

This hurts to watch.

I wasn't sure if I liked this guy from the OP's video. He seems like a straight laced Connor Omalley, but relies on shitty editing to punch stuff up, and it rubs me the wrong way if the point was to go to a furry convention to make fun of them... But this video, damn. Just fuck.
