Whelp, they shouldn't have been cheating in the first place. It's their problem. I have no sympathy for people who were actually cheating in a multiplayer game. I don't understand how someone can find that fun.
Nothing will ever beat the feigned innocence of the individuals caught with their pants down when Xbox 360 ban waves occurred, but these are still damn entertaining.

Didn't realise hardware ID banning was even a thing. Needs to be much more widespread! Zero tolerance in my opinion for cheaters. You wanna ruin the game for other people? Get fucked. Cheaters on PC is why i do all my multiplayer gaming on console but now that crossplay is becoming a thing i've been concerned about that spilling over into my games.
I mean on one hand I don't feel bad for them, on the other I am giddy with the urge to mock them. If only there was a way to combine these two hands to create some form of noise that would allow me to express myself.

yep its like the only reason i browse the steam forums for some games pretty much every hour on some games.
Their enjoyment stems from making others miserable/angry and they relish over having an advantage playing competitively while getting away with it.
I imagine these cunts exhibit a whole plethora of undesirable traits in their daily lives.
If someone get's banned on Easy Anti-Cheat, are they still able to play other games with EAC or are they banned for every game that uses it, like with VAC?
They cheat so that they would perform better. Type of the game is irrelevant.

It's effectively the same mentality you have for a single player game when you change the difficulty to easy or enable a bunch of cheats, but it's in a multiplayer environment. They don't care that the other people are real, they'll do whatever they want as though this instance of the game is only for them.
The weirder question is how they don't understand why they aren't allowed to cheat in a multiplayer game. The logic of "I paid for the game so I don't have to follow your rules" makes no sense.

Some people party up with cheaters and get boosted to avoid bans. They should at least reset their stats since they'd be unearned.

WTF? This is anti-consumer behavior and shouldn't be tolerated. Gamers should be able to enjoy games the way they want without being persecuted for it.
Is this a joke? It's free game and gamers mostly definitely shouldn't be able to get away with hacking in a multiplayer game and ruin the experience for everyone else

I used to a pretty decent FIFA Seasons player. From FIFA10 to FIFA14 I always reached Division 1.
Was like my favorite hobby but I had to quit one day, because the cheating & cheesing got too bad.
Lag switching, abusing the pause button, playing distracting noises through the headphones.... it was no fun anymore.
