Cap the frame rate/potentially improve frame times: Download RivaTuner Statistics Server (if you use MSI Afterburner, then you already have it installed), input your desired framerate limit in the "Framerate limit" box, and hit Enter . Alternatively, those with an Nvidia GPU can either cap the frame rate at the driver level via the Nvidia Control Panel (requires the 441.87+ drivers) or use Nvidia Inspector to force a vsync internal lower than one-half (click the small tool icon to open the game profile section).
Note: Useful if your system can't maintain, say, 60fps and you're sensitive to the wild fluctuations, or you're experiencing uneven frame times. The greater window the engine has to render a given frame, if you're imposing a lower frame rate than the game can otherwise provide, may also help in alleviating stuttering related to data streaming.
Fix Windows Store version not launching: Run the game from the start menu rather than the Xbox/Microsoft store app. (Credit to thestinman @ Reddit via RankFTW.)
Fix Windows Store version not launching correctly: Ensure you're running the latest version of the game by opening the Microsoft Store app, clicking the downward-facing arrow button in the top-right corner, and clicking "Get updates". (Credit to Ostron.)
Fix Easy Anti-Cheat false positives: Disable any RGB or peripheral-related software. (Credit to wwm0nkey.)
Fix voice chat being output from the wrong device: Run control mmsys.cpl sounds from the Start Menu, right-click your desired output device, and select "Set as default communication device". (Credit to SaberVS7.)

At 1920x1080 144 Hz with 90 FoV and "enhanced" graphics I'm getting 100~144 FPS. Absolutely beautiful performance
Next week I'll have a laptop with an i7 9750H, RTX 2070, 32 GB RAM and a 240 Hz screen, to replace this desktop. I wonder how many FPS I will be able to get on it

EDIT: Huh, sometimes it seems to cap itself at 60 FPS for a few seconds while driving the car, then jumps right again to 120+ FPS. Weird.

Okay check this out. It's running at 100+FPS, randomly caps itself at 60 FPS for a few seconds, then jumps back up to 100+ FPS again.



Happens randomly while driving the car. Super weird lol

Ran this 4K/60 on my 970 and a 4690k during flighting. Will report back if anything changes, but it looks like even a modest setup will get you a lot of pixels (shock).

Edit: still runs well at 4K

Topped out at 58% GPU usage at 4k when locked to 60 on my oc'd 1660. Basically 5700+ owners can probably downsample this from 8k.

Only small performance issue is a frame hitch when loading in new areas or reaching checkpoints.

Hopefully we can get some texture mods for this in the coming months.

Does anyone have the ability to check if there will be a performance or frametime difference between the Steam version and the MS Store version?

I thought it was gonna be straight up 60fps lock at launch. Glad to hear it's mostly not 60 locked?

Seems to me gsync/control panel vsync doesn't work correctly on Win10 store version. Getting tearing.

5120x3200 with everything maxed out - no sweat on my 2080, it doesn't even clock to base to hit 60 fps, runs at 1200 MHz. Haven't played much as I'll be waiting till we get all games before playing them but seems to run great so far.

Rivatuner FPS cap isn't working properly for me, I have a global cap set to 141fps but the game just locks to 120fps, disabling the cap allows my framerate up to 144.

GSYNC doesn't seem to be working for me which is a shame. VSYNC caps it to 60 and with it off it's just a screen tearing mess.

Works fine for me. Game defaulted to Borderless when first starting it up, and it worked even then (even though i have GSync set to only enable in fullscreen apps).

Not sure what your problem could be. Using latest Nvidia driver and Steam version.

Not really a performance issue but a Bit of an odd one this - I've got subtitles turned on but it's not displaying any at all. Toggled it on and off and restarted but no joy.

Happening to anyone else?

Games Pass version.

thoughts on being somewhat competitive using a controller in MP? do they have controller only rooms or will i have to use mouse and keyboard

Played MP for 2 hours. Waiting time is pretty good.

NOTE: during 8v8 searching it might seem that its taking too long. After some time 12-14 players will jump in at once!

Has anyone else the problem that cpu and gpu aren´t really utilized, but getting only 55 to 70fps?

Intel Xeon 1231v3 (~30% usage with spikes to 60%)
RTX 2070 overclocked, driver 441.41 (~40% usage)
12GB RAM DDR3

Anyone get HDR working with windows store version?

note: HDR *always* works for me on every pc game that has HDR featured. So im thinking this version may not have HDR?

is this happening only to me? game asks if i want to download files necessary for the game to launch, i say yes, but minutes after, it gives me this if i try to press start:

60fps or uncapped on a freesync monitor doesn't feel smooth at all. 1080GTX + 8700k.
