Yep, in school in late 80s/early 90s in the UK. Always mega excitement when the school's sole BBC Micro was wheeled in to the classroom.

I downloaded an emulator a few years back and played Granny's Garden lmao.

Also remember playing Martello Tower (a maths focused game I think?) And The Magic Telephone Box (very similar to Granny's Garden).

Another thing I remember was the insane hardware quality. It was built like a brick, and the keyboard was rock solid too, great to type on - leagues ahead on the keyboards on C64/Amstrad/Speccy. The keys used a unique dual-spring design to ensure longevity. My C64 had a couple of keys that I had to hammer down hard to get any reaction, never an issue on the BBC.
