Thanks. Sorry for being off topic but I had to get to the bottom of that.
Preach. One of the most iconic and scenic shopping districts in the world and its filled with cheap shite.
The phrase "can of mayonnaise" is triggering me so bad right now.It doesn't seem too crazy. Isn't a can of mayonnaise like 5 pounds?
I'm not sure if it'll make things any better, but something was just passed to allow a third of the storefronts along Princes Street to become a restaurant or bar. It'll at least bring some much needed change to the street and hopefully see a few of those tartan tat places fuck off.So glad to be living in Glasgow now, but even here, the tartan tat has begun creeping onto places like Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street. I guess rents are absolutely knock-down cheap for the moment because of online shopping, so these kinds of shops survive, even if its rare for anyone native to go in, just the odd tourist.
The worst shit is the pipe band music they blare 24-7. I love some good pipe band stuff but it just sends my internal Scottish cringe to a whole new level going past one of those shops.

Bruh. Gotta get the free energy drinks. Red bull or rockstars at the casinos.4 Pounds is just under $5 USD.
I paid almost $7 for a canned Rockstar in Vegas last month :(
I think that old BHS is under renovation but I have no idea what it's becoming. It wouldn't surprise me if it was some Amazon thing. That the old BHS? I moved away from Edinburgh a year ago now. I remember one of those tat magnates tried opening up a megastore in it but it seemed to bite the dust pretty quickly, and the place was just left derelict.
aint no way i'd pay 12 bucks for Flamin' Hot unless they were rare or exclusive or super cool looking
I was at a casino (Aria) but had to get to my conference, so no "free drink" from a tender for playing some video pokerBruh. Gotta get the free energy drinks. Red bull or rockstars at the casinos.
only cheap ones do, from my very extensive experience.as an aside:
do bags of crisps in the UK list a suggested retail price? i think thats common in the US, most 8 oz bags suggested price is like 4 bucks or sommit but most stores sell for less
Ah. I've had many of free sugar free red bulls at aria haha.I was at a casino (Aria) but had to get to my conference, so no "free drink" from a tender for playing some video poker
I've seen monster at gas stations for like 3.69 cdnYou can buy a 4 pack of Monster in literally any supermarket for like £3. What would that bag of Cheetos cost in the states?
what is the extra price i need to pay for an extra SUPREME sticker on top of it?
maybe theyre being "touchy" or maybe you just wrote a corny edgelord post dude.We got a touchy one over here. It has nothing to do with being cool and everything to do with them being a fucking ripoff.

I know, just had to grab some form of caffeine on the way to the conference area, zero chance to hit the CVS that morningDon't buy things from the hotel gift shop when you're in Vegas. Only but things from the ABC Store, Walgreens, or CVS.
That way you pay convenience store prices instead of "stealing yo' money" prices.
Like for you, there's that CVS directly to the south of the CityCenter complex that would have worked.
What is 'corny edge lord' about saying I wouldn't buy an Apple phone? 😂maybe theyre being "touchy" or maybe you just wrote a corny edgelord post dude.
A FUCKING TENNER FOR A BAG OF CHEETOS. Still, this is maybe a glimpse into post-Brexit pricing.
