Rise of Shadows!

Launching worldwide on April 9, Rise of Shadows is Hearthstone’s newest expansion, featuring 135 new cards, a host of game improvements—including Arena rotations—and brand-new mechanics!

Rise of Shadows Mega Bundle
  • This bundle includes 80 Rise of Shadows card packs, the Madame Lazul Priest Hero, an exclusive card back, and a random Rise of Shadows Golden Legendary card!

Rise of Shadows Standard Bundle
  • This bundle includes 50 Rise of Shadows card packs, an exclusive card back, and a random Rise of Shadows Legendary card!

LACKEYS

Introducing – Lackeys!

  • Generated by EVIL cards that add Lackeys to your hand, Lackeys are 1/1 minions that, while lacking in terms of raw stats, pack a surprisingly powerful punch when they hit the board.

SCHEMES

Introducing - Schemes!

  • Schemes are powerful spells that become even more powerful the longer they stay in your hand. It takes time to cook up a good scheme, but the payoff is totally worth it!

TWINSPELL

Introducing – Twinspell!

  • Twinspells are spells that, once cast, create a copy of themselves in your hand to be used whenever you like. Turn the tides of battle, then turn it again!

Callback Cards

All of our villains have been around for quite a while, so some of the new cards might be familiar. Callback cards will be using mechanics from past expansions.

YEAR OF THE DRAGON
With the launch of Rise of Shadows, the Year of the Dragon will officially begin!

That top 5 seems about right, maybe I'd switch Glowtron with Assembly.

Can't wait for tomorrow! It'll be interesting to see if Druid becomes as dominant as so many people are expecting.

I'm also very excited for the single player puzzles, though I haven't seem much about them. Only problem I have with that is those puzzles won't have the replay value as Dungeon Run and Monster Hunt. I understand that having ANOTHER mode like those might be too repetitive, but I hope we get something like that again, they're too much fun. Maybe something like Magic: Shandalar would be cool, though that would probably be too much work.

How do I record my pack opening on windows? Do I need to install a software? Or is there a built in method?

Nice new fresh thread feel with some top 10 cards, nice job manhack. I never make the wall of shame for post counts but probably was closer than ever after last thread.

FTP here!! paid for a dungeon run once. Hunderds of hours for $1.50. I play an hour a day on average claer all my quests. Got 8300 gold for tommorow. Lets GO!

It is hard to be FTP but it is doable. Biggest suggestion I can give is pick three classes you like the best. Dust all class cards from the other classes your not using. Craft cards 2 weeks after exspantion for your 3 classes. Boom competitive meta decks while FTP.

I wasn't planning on opening my packs until the weekend, but tomorrow I go home early for my dad's birthday so I might have time. Hmm...

Looking forward to the expansion!
After Witchwood kinda disappointed me, Boomsday at least looks AWESOME. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

The meta at the end of witchwood ended up to be the most stable the game ever was. Every class was viable and was represented. Hope this continues to be the case! Hyyyyped

Hope the mechs pan out. Still can't believe the Paladin legendary isn't a mech, but at least there's Glow-Tron.

burgle rogue first, because it's the only time it wins lol.

I'm going to try bloodlust shaman next, seems like it could be decent.

Then aggro druid seems like another decent choice.

I convinced myself to pre-order on account that when I don't I buy 2 orders of $20 and I may as well get it over with and open 100 packs. I'm moderately excited for wacky combos.

you can go to hspacktracker.com and itll tell you what to do there.

I am 15.89 dust below average over 35 packs.
That's 556 dust, feels bad
Dust distribution is lopsided toward single big cards, so I would bet it's common for sample sizes that low to be below the average. A single legendary or golden epic would almost double your dust there.

Been looking to sell my account for a while, have a bunch of dust and gold saved up (hmu if interested), but this set does look pretty good so I'm actually willing to give it a shot and have nearly 8000 gold saved. Omega, Magnetic and Legendary Spells are all looking really fun. Positive about everything except maybe projects. But boy am I sick of this meta, and I like aggro.

I really should go to sleep but I'm excited and playing decks that probably won't be played again.

I wish I wash hyped for this but Hadronox druid killed my enjoyment of the game, as did the current meta. I don't see any new decks emerging that beat Hadronox and big spell mage sadly. But happy for you guys and girls that are hype :)

To be fair big mage isn't that good. But yeah, I don't like this current meta too,

Just started 7PM-7AM shift, expansion launches at 3AM. Planning on watching streamers until end of shift then cracking open 80 packs at home, can't wait :D

I think it totally kills midrange decks (as does most of the meta) which is a big reason I dislike it. Plus Frost Lich Jaina is the most frustrating card to play against. But yeah, it's not on the same level as the other decks. It feels like the "control" and combo decks are just too powerful in what they do, either with endless board clears or endless refilling of their boards unless you get lucky with Tinkmaster.

I've been playing more and more opponents with names like D675Ju&6fh lately. Bots, right?
