Don't worry it works both ways. I was playing mech pally and failing at playing around my own secrets that a thief rogue had stolen. Give it a shot if you have the dust, it's a pretty decent deck, unfortunately rogue just tramples all over it.
This. I have been chasing the meta like crazy over the last week. Crafting the new hot decks and then just busting out with them. I'm done with that now. I think I'm just going to build my own decks and see what happens... this is the least fun I've had with Hearthstone, ever. And I thought that having all the cards to make any deck I wanted to was going to be fun. All it has done is made me second guess everything...
lol, this is so true of this game. I've felt the same way many times. My advice is to worry about the ladder later. Find ways to have fun now. There are always many off-meta decks that work.
Looks very similar to versions I saw early on. I was doing one with double Spirit of the Frog and more burn spells instead but I like the look of this version.
And this explains the the current state I'm in... Here's what normally happens: Find new deck. Play new deck and win tons with it--win rate over 60% (That Murloc deck you spectated, for instance). Think this new deck will get me to Rank 5 or higher (I'm 10 now with the highest 8). Then go on an unbelievable losing streak--win rate goes to under 30%. Curse the game. Find new deck. So if the timer is 40 packs, it's feasible to open 39 of every expansion back to back and see no leggos?
Haha yeah. So, this is fact? Or just hypothesized by the community?

It's just one of those things that you hope you don't get, but you can still take advantage. It pretty much just becomes an auctioneer
The Mango Sentinel mentioned it already but it's not too bad of a low roll. The Muckmorpher still gets the stealth too so you're likely able to capitalize on the draw. I was running double SotF when I first started and then more burn spells and I think I had a Malygos in there too. I would just try to get a SotF in my opening hand and sometimes just roll the dice, you're more likely to get a desirable target than not, and on turn 5 a lot of the time I'd be happier with a SotF than with a buffed Zilliax.
I'm starting to come around to Kibler's point of view. Classic/Basic needs a rework.

Yeah I have said before in this thread. Classic/basic need to go and we need a rotating core set built up for old cards. SO many cards have never seen any play because classic cards were just better. Imagine bringing them back and sending the current bunch out. It would solve so many problems with this game. The main one for me being I am just tired of seeing them after my 4 frickin years playing this game.
Fits the Avengers/Fallen ban.
