Turn 1 coin underbelly angler is really strong too. It's hard for your opponent to remove a 2/3 on turn 2. Then you can just slam down two 1 mana murlocs next turn.

and I've been equally screwed when they can deal with it, it's a gamble.

If the opponent can deal with it (at this point most people mulligan for an eventual underbelly) then I almost certainly lose the game

i rarely play angler earlier than 4 or 5 unless the mulligan winds up putting them both in my opening hand, later if possible. the more options the better and you get better value out of playing weak shit like Raider and Tidehunter in later turns. Scargill/Angler/Ghostlight has granted me some Reno-caliber unlikely comebacks more than a few times

After a couple days with it, the new reconnect system and offline functionality in the mobile app make the whole experience so much better. Better late than never!

wait, i don't put snipsnap in my mech pally cos the deathrattle screws up kangor's, right? i guess i have no use for that card outside of making some wild mech hunter cancer i'm not feeling (already close to 1k hunter wins anyway, altho well over 700 with pally too but at least mech pally feels slightly fresh for a std deck

So Kibler was around Boston last night and tweeted out an impromptu meetup. I popped by and had a couple drinks and chatted. Happy to say he's a wicked nice guy in person!

Nice. Too bad I'm not in the area anymore, would of loved to meet up.

I used to head to LA for the Blizzard events back in the day. Most of the Hearthstone players I've met have been very cool in person.

honestly pve content sucked. This was probably worst than any of them releasing since dungeon run except rumble run (that was utter garbage) and it wasn't free. Sure there was more of it but quality was worse. You have bosses being recycled between chapters as well, they don't have completely separate encounters and on top of that none of them were exactly as unique or funny as the expansions before, so in reality it's not really that much more content than dungeon run, it's just padded over five chapters. Even Witchwood was much more exciting than this. I was expecting a lot more, it's not really worth the price compared with the free stuff of the past.

Does feel like they just threw in a bunch of stuff to justify charging for it. I really hate how they rolled out the heroes slowly and then you still had to unlock all their unique powers, then do it again for Heroic mode too. Pretty much guarantees I won't see them all.

Rumble Run would be better than this paid mode if you could pick your hero and then choose your totem. Monster Hunt is probably my favourite in recent memory though.

I feel very good about my decision not to buy the adventure. The first wing is quite enough to satiate my single player desires. I'd have bought it for sure though if it was at release. The packs would have meant something to me. Oh well.

Got ridiculously lucky on the heroic version of chapter 5. Robe of Gaudinees + Glimmer Patron (+2/+2 and starts in hand) and also added three copies of Glimmer Patron to my deck. No match was even remotely close.

Haven't played ladder in a couple weeks but I see Warrior is still total cancer.

Kind of odd they make all these changes yet Warrior just skates on by.
I'm disappointed that Warrior didn't get touched but there are far less of them than before. Really want Omega Devastator to go to 6 mana. Wouldn't mind seeing Dynomatic go to 6 either, but it's not as offensive to me as the former.

So why is Zalae so bad in the grand masters?
Is it because along with the other well known streamers he doesn't have time to prepare and concentrate?
Also, I was not expecting Strifecro to finish that high up in the rankings.

I just watched Kripp play through the whole adventure and didn't buy it for myself. The AI seemed bad and the rewards were lackluster. It didn't feel like I missed out on anything.

I had some really amazing moments with the wondrous ball, i can't complain with that and the packs, I'm fine with what we got in the adventure.

The initial Paladin deck has Sound the Bells. If you get to the tavern and reduce the cost by 3, that counts the echo cost too. Free buffs to infinity.

For some reason, the treasure minion that keeps buffs stopped at +32/64. New buffs done later in the run wouldn't register. Though it's probably reasonable to assume people aren't going to buff anything more than 32 times.

That's odd, as I did clear the fifth adventure by that method and managed to buff more than 32 times for turn 4 lethal. Though, might some coding with the treasure minion.

Oh no I got to 110 attack. But it was the minion that keeps its buffs to the next game and it only had 32 attack in the next game.

I finally got another 12 win arena run. It's been a long time. GvG cards are just so insane, especially when you can support them with Boomsday cards.

I just wish someone could tell me the 30-40 cards in Flamekilla's Murloc Shaman lists that he went 9-3 with. can't seem to find it online.

This tournament has been a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Glad to see Dog making it to the final 4.
agreed, there has been some very interesting matchups and some crazy ones, I'm glad the specialist isn't as bad as I initially thought.

that or just that this meta is one of the best we have ever had in the game.

Yeah seeing the different tech has been really fun. Fucking Deranged Doctor lol.

Glad to see one of the buffed cards play a huge part in winning the tournament.
Glad Dog won. He deserves it.
Yeah I'm super happy for him.

I was rooting for gallon, but I'm absolutely fine with dog winning, the man is such as nice person and he really deserved that first place.

Also, luna's pocket galaxy is now a really good card after the buffs. Glad the buffs shook the meta a bit.

So, there's a pretty nice wild bundle going on now till 1st of July. 56 packs from earlier sets for 35 euro (and same for dollars I think).

So I've been trying to complete the Dalaran Heist on Heroic but like...I can't even get past the first act DX Everyday I will try with all the heroes I have available until I win with one of them but my attempts all lead to nada. My favorite hero (the cute fox pirate rogue) is probably the 2nd hardest to play with on heroic. I will usually lose to the first or 2nd boss. The priest seems to be the hardest as I have yet to make it past the first boss with her? I think. The easiest hero seems to be the Hunter as I always get really far with him, and if I ever do get past the 1st act it will be with him. I gotta say...not sure if I like the fact you are awarded the 3 packs for just playing the act instead of beating it. Seems odd to me.
