I wish someone else was running the esport side. if it was actually a priority for them and not just marketing we might actually have a real spectator and tourney modes.
Justsaiyan.... Felt like he waited one too many turns of 'do nothing' or 'dont heal'. These tempo decks and zoo decks need to be answered almost blow-for-blow every turn. Stuff like hecklebot, I'm just not a big fan of. The ability to reload or recycle is just so damn high.
Do players in the semis/finals of these tournaments ever split the winnings to lower variance like in poker tournaments?
A rogue just played a 10-10 Van Cleef on turn 3 against me. Nothing I could do.

Viper's RNG in both this last game and in his game with Sayian was absolutely insane. What a great match though and what a hell of a final game.

Don't play vs even warlock where they can play an 8/8 on 3 with much much more common frequency. A 10/10 turn 3 van cleef is silenceable though. You lost to a very good hand whereas your hand was not so good. It happens, you move on.
that was super fun! i'm glad they did it so soon after the expansion. could you imagine this tourney with the same 4 decks we've seen all year long? the games were actually exciting. the entire point of RNG in hearthstone is so games play out differently. which is why everyone was so sick and tired of genn, baku and deathknights.

they'll do something. there's no reason for them not to and they've demonstrated that they're willing to have multiple balance updates per expansion.
Both classes are definitely strong right now, but I don't feel either are as oppressive or unfair as some classes in previous meta's. Looking at sites like hsreplay also show they have their counters and a winrate of ~55%. I don't think that's that big of a problem for now.
the real problem is play rates. win rates never tell the whole story. lackey rogue is the best deck in the game by a lot and it's only bad matchup is warrior. which inflates the number of warriors on ladder. and despite that rogue is 30% of the ladder at legend ranks while the bottom 4 classes are at 5% or lower. on top of that balance in specialist tourneys is abysmal and they're taking way too long to complete because of warrior.
they don't need to nuke anything from orbit but some slight tweaks would be welcome. think they could get away with changing just 4 cards. evil miscreant to 3 or 4 health. wagglepick to 3 attack. change elysiana to say "replace up to 10 cards" and take away rush from dr boom.

If there's an issue it's raiding party because it means he can do that play without hurting his hand too much.

making a 10/10 edwin by going coin prep raiding party deckhand is nuts.
i found that the most consistent strategy was to multiply them with big bad voodoo attached since it creates a board of random 8 drops.
the problem with that is that it's slow and can't beat warrior very consistently.
I know competition softens towards the end of the month but zoolock is doing work. Hit rank 5 for the first time in a few seasons. A lot of the really good board clears rotated out and EVIL agents are OP.
I don't know if I'll hit five this month, I'm being lazy. I went from 15-10 in a little over an hour playing Token Druid, only lost two games. Once I got to 10 I started playing Mech Pally and I'm at seven now. I didn't like Token Druid at all, I just played it to win. However, Mech Pally is pretty fun and I'm getting close to my golden portrait, so I'll keep playing it.
Are you playing Rafaam in your version? Such a fun card, and it's gotten me a few wins as well.
Rafaam is the best plan B card ever printed. If aggro doesn't get you all the way there instead of completely losing steam the deck can transition into high value / RNGesus.
