People are already opening zayle in packs and he's useable.

Thief Rogue, silence priest, bomb warrior, plot twist warlock and control shaman.

There has to be more to it than that. It can't just be that.

More of what we had is what I hoped. With heroic, Anomaly Mode and multiple hero powers it's more extensive as well.

Should be fun.

Man...I was enjoying druid until miracle mage made its mark. That shit is a miserable match. And there's less warriors now, so I can't even get auto wins off them. Time to put Druid down for a while.

I have so much fun with solo adventures but always suck at them. In the history of them, I've only ever beaten a set of 8 bosses ONCE. lol.

Two attempts so far on Chapter 1 and I wiped on boss 6 or 7 each time. Up to boss 7 again as a mage with a legit OP deck (I think). My anomaly is Dragon Soul and I've got the Emerald Goggles that cut your left-most card by 2 mana in cost, which is HUGE.

This content is GREAT so far. Best they've ever done bar-none.

Did my first run in the adventure. Drafted.... Miracle Mage? I guess?
got 10 scrolls of wonder for my first treasure, Then Orb of The Untold, Princes Ring, and The... Candles?
managed to get 4 primordial glyphs, some anomalies, a book, a mana cyclone, Tony,
Rapid 8 wins, got a pirate enemy that made me a little worried but valeera hero power + Orb into valeera + quest reward + 6 tony fireballs + leyline manipulator helped.

I was disappointed to learn that copying my 6/5 arcane anomaly at the tavern only gave me 2/1 copies :(


Edit: got heroic on my 2nd try. 6 kills in the first run but I went up against the token druid dude who summons treants, 2 2/2 treants for 2 was a bit much with all the buffs she was able to get.

Heroic anomaly mode is so much fun.

Here I have the anomaly that gives both players +2 mana and +2 card draw at the start. Also have the treasure that draws me I think 2 or 3 cards at the start. I made it so I draw emperor thaurisan at the start of the game. Also my hero power is 1 mana reduce a random card in hand cost by 2 which is reduced by 1 (to ZERO mana hero power) by a treasure that also lets me use it twice a turn.

So I start by getting lucky and emperor gets reduced to 4 mana. With coldara drake in hand emperor reduced coldara drake to 5. So I can play ET on 2 and coldara drake on 3. What happens with a 0 mana reduce cards in your hand with infinite use? I'll tell ya, 0 mana hand.

The crazy part is it wasn't an instant win. Although aluneth pretty much ensured I wouldn't lose and I have a weapon in the deck to break aluneth when I need to.

It's very replayable. You probably won't get bored of the content within a week. At least I am not so far, at least with heroic + anomaly mode (I haven't played vanilla heroic yet or gone back to normal since playing heroic anomaly).

I don't know about this new format these warrior mirrors are a lot to watch over and over again. Definitely has me missing conquest or whatever it was called. I can't believe that this is what we're getting for the whole year. I hope they'll reconsider if the majority of people don't like it I always look forward to watching hs tournaments on twitch but omg this is just too monotonous for me : (

Step 1: Add a C'Thun from the bartender to my deck with +1/+1
Step 2: Then randomly make it 0-cost in the same shot.

The adventure is really something.

I'm doing work tonight so have this on the background. They should switch to a no mirror setup. Players bring 3 classes with their 3 decks each. If the both select the same class they select again. If they both select the same class say 3 times in a row, it auto chooses. Just can't have these insufferable control mirrors.

Went 8-0 on chapter 1

Starting the opponent with 2 cursed cards in hand was pretty OP, and I got the spell that gives a minion +2/+2 and summons 2 copies of it was also very very OP especially when I used it on an Ethereal Arcanist when I almost always had secrets up because I picked the start game with 3 random secret option :p

This is a good idea. All the warrior mirrors was definitely what killed it for me

Can I talk about how much I fucking love this single player content. I've fucking sunk 10+ hours into it already, I'm sure. So replayable and fun. They nailed it.

I only just finally beat Chapter II, too. Lol. Can't wait till more chapters and heroes/classes unlock. So much content here.

Heroic difficulty still waits for me too. I haven't beaten any of those in any adventures so far. Lol.

Question: do past adventures now include the possibility of cards from newer expansions?

I've been watching this tournament off and on all weekend and all I can say is the specialist format is incredibly boring. Such a terrible viewing experience even when it's not warrior mirrors the tech cards don't feel like they have a big enough impact beyond whatever archetype you decided to bring. Even when it goes to game three it just feels like "great we get to watch the exact same match up AGAIN"

Not sure who thought this would be a good thing for the pro scene. Were the players asking for this or was it completely blizzards' idea?

they had an amazing tournament last month with the HCT, because they had to use several classes we had a nice variety of things, this tournament was full warrior and I blame the format because they are forced to go with a single class, so it's natural they go with the best class available in the meta, and since we are talking about the smartest players in the world, they will probably all chose the same class.

I never liked the idea of them chosing only a single class for an entire tournament

yeah I don't get kibler thinking a single deck can be more interesting than forcing to play with several different classes and decks...
