I dont get it... the game was perfect as it was, for its scope and story... Why another one?
A new project exploring the same or similar menthal health problems would have been much more interesting... :\
The developers want to tell the story.

I see we have a gamer on this forum, nice to meet you ! I agree that there's a large room for improvement on both domain.I didn't liked the first much, but I still hope they improve action and puzzles on this one.
Similar maybe, but the quality will drop a ton from what they've shown. They never said real-time yea but since it is in-engine gameplay will be similar looking. Assets and everything will be same.
Pretty sure they've said 1st party games will be cross-gen for the first couple years. There will most likely be a One port.

This trailer for example is also in-engine:
or this one:
If they can actually get the game to look like this, next gen is gonna kick some serious ass.

You hope they find some aliasing to prove it's authenticity.Hopefully Digital Foundry takes a look at the trailer, interested to see what they can tease out.
Considering Ninja Theory agreed to an acquisition it's possible a sequel wouldn't have happened at all, let alone one with this kind of potential due to the massive financial backing they have now.
The fact that the sequel has come as far as this can be contributed to Microsoft.
Era: "MS won't ever make games like Hellblade!"
MS:" Tada!"
Era: " Did Hellblade NEED a sequel? Why are they forcing Ninja Theory to make a sequel?"
gonna be a common problem this coming gen i think , but its a good(?) thing i think
Forgot about the part where this was also started by NT before acquisition
agreed.
Eh no, this games looks good when you get close to the ground,.
Microsoft is funding the game now. They have all the right to make it exclusiveYou really think the sequel wouldn't have been released on all major platforms without the acquisition?
