I thought OP was going to post this, but...I genuinely think OP wins. That shit had me laughing my ass off. You could hear the guy reading that shit off his paper, or whatever.
Shenmue 1 and 2 in English is a total assault for your ears, even more so when you've been used to hearing the original Japanese voices.

You tend to see a lot of the same examples come up in these threads so I'm surprised that not only is this a new gem but it's also a strong contender for the title of worst voice acting.
To be absolutely fair, the voice acting in that game was literally thrown together by the tiny western publisher because they wouldn't be allowed certification otherwise and couldn't afford professional talent.
I can't even laugh at this. None of this is funny. It's sad and bad. What a shame.

I remember skipping all the cutscenes in this game because they made me cringe.
Really liked the gameplay though, basically GTA where you never leave your car with more of a focus on racing, and you buy and customise your cars like in a mechwarrior game.

Yep that sounds like basketball players reading lines with a performance director who doesn't give a shit.
The early 360 brown & bloom filter makes everyone look like a bad 3d model and it's uncanny as hell.
Some of it sounds perfectly mediocre to fine. I'd say that puts it above something like, oh... Shenmue. It's just all terrible in English Shenmue.
