Clemency is booty butt cheeks. That level 1 Q talent is an absolute must pick IMO. If people would stop picking Clemency I think her overall winrate would be about 58-60%.

Agree, Whitemane is amazing for PVP and prolonged teamfights which can be the first specialized support for that enviroment.

I wish her W wasnt so dependant on PVP and forcing you to go PVE pick on talent 1 and a talent to refresh Q via W

Have you tried Q build? Eradicates both her mana dependency and lack of healing when not dealing damage.

Oh yeah, I actually normally go all Q talents except for 13 (where I grab the root usually). Even with that build, her out of combat healing still felt below-average until 16. But maybe it's actually solid and it just feels bad (psychologically) to not be taking advantage of Zeal.

There were recon mercs on hanamura? Blizz completely killed the main objetive to a normal brawl map. Azmodan is gonna shine again on Hanamura

Also Mephisto kit pretty much confirmed Blizz killed the specialist class

I was refering his CC and hit and run kit feels like focused for a specialist role
I'm still not really sure how that feels like a specialist. The only other specialist who has anything close to 'hit and run' is arguably Medivh, or maybe Sylvanas. And most (not all) specialists are centered around pushing.

They haven't had a specialist in forever, which is a shame because it's my favorite class to play.

Jeff said Builders are no longer since the nature of the game is faster and fights are everywhere with no time to place a proper defense on your own

Sure, although not hard to imagine a Symmetra in HOTS being a specialist. Although I suppose Medivh has the whole teleport thing already. Torbjorn would be an interesting balance job of course.

Medivh already having Symm's new TP is a bummer, yeah. Not sure how you'd differentiate them. Otherwise, her new kit is pretty teamfight-friendly - being able to shoot out turrets as skillshots rather than slowly run around pointing and clicking helps a ton - but they'd have to figure out barriers a la OW first.

I'm definitely interested in seeing how they'd incorporate Reinhardt's shield if they decide to have OW barriers.

I'm guessing it would work like D.Va's matrix, you aim the direction you want to block and the shield acts as an entity, blocking hero movement and skill shots. I can see it working.
D. Va's matrix was changed pretty significantly to work in HOTS, though - instead of eating attacks and skillshots that enter it, it just reduces hero damage from heroes inside of it. Being able to totally block a skillshot is a pretty wildly powerful or totally useless ability depending on how it handles the secondary effects, kind of unlike OW.

My idea is that it would work as a pseudo-hero that is always in front of him while active. It would definitely excel against skill shots like Hanzo's arrow, Ana's sleep darts, Cassia's spears etc. It would suck against wave based attacks and targeted spells. I don't know if that would make it too good or just about useless. Besides that, any damage from the front targeted at Reinhardt would be redirected to the shield. Breaking it would put it on a cooldown.

In my mind that's the only way to translate the shield to HotS within its constraints.

Just got back to the game in the past few days after spending the last few months playing Smite, and got my first chance to play as Whitemane. Man, now I don't feel like playing anything but support - just her, Stukov, and Deckard Cain.

Support is my most played position, but I still haven't bought Whitemane. Will do when it drops to normal price. But right now I'm playing exclusively as Ana and Lúcio. I just love Ana's grenade potential to disrupt the enemy healer (specially good against Alex) and her sleeping darts are great for set ups. Lúcio I just go with the damage ult and have fun walking on people's faces and blasting them to death.

If I would go online for unranked, with how much toxicity will I b met? Have mic and can talk obviously.

It varies, honestly. If you're in an actual game with other new people, it should be fine. There are veterans who have MMR at the same level or worse than the new player base MMR, however, and that's where you can run into problems. It's very easy to mute their chat, or voice, or all of the above. You can even just mute chat in general, though I would not recommend that.

I'd encourage jumping into the actual modes as soon as possible. It's the real part of the game, and the issues with toxicity are mostly overblown. There's far less of it in this game than in League or Dota, for sure. It's hard to learn very much in AI because it's so easy to steamroll the bots. Too much AI can lead to learning bad habits or enforcing bad play that you'll have to break when you get into real games with real people.

So, just went back to playing as Diablo after several months without playing the game. I'm surprised they didn't change his trait too much, but I'm liking the new talents to help gather souls. I also like how much sustain they gave him. Been getting the Life Leech talent a lot, but I still don't see any reason to not focus on the Charge talents later on. Having it deal a lot more damage, as well as being able to use it twice is just too good, specially in small corridors.

red731 I'd say the community is less bad than other MOBAs, but I still get way more toxicity than good manners most of the time. Since you are lower level, that might not be as bad, but I assume it's just like any other MOBA: as soon as you miss a skill shot or, if playing a support, let someone die, they will berate you for the rest of the match. If you are playing with firends, just mute chat. If you are playing alone, type :glhf: at the beginning of a match and usually people will be more relaxed.

A ranged assassin with stealth, hyper mobility, and disables (at least a silence, I'm guessing). Whew, that's going to be... interesting.

is there a reason why i would always be the person to choose banning in unranked? 99% of my matches had me choosing people to ban and sometimes i just could care less =/
