I'm consistently surprised when I see how quickly some people finish games and how many they play in a year. I'd say I finish less than 15 a year. I do replay a lot of games though.

I'm guessing you need a couple of notches within that first tier.

I'm lucky to genuinely finish more than 10.

It's a little bit of time available and how much a game actually grabs me.

Bless those with enough time and money to play and beat 100+ a year.

Usually around 50. I managed 100 last year, but that included a lot of short classic games. I'm a little over 30 for 2019 right now.

I play a lot of games but don't finish most of them. I'd be surprised if I rolled credits on more than 25.

Depends on the year, this year I've only finished two, Days Gone and Kingdom Hearts 3. Last year I think around five or six. I think the years I finished the most were probably 2011, which was my senior year of high school, and I didn't really have that much difficult work to do at school. I think that year I beat almost every major release, Resistance 3, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, Batman AC, and many more, so probably around 25 that year.

I dont really play long games so my games beaten are very much skewed because of that
Last year I beat 55 games and averaged 9,35 hours per game. So roughly 10 hours gaming a week.
However 18 of these where under 1 hour in completion time and only 18 where more than 10 hours.

This year I'm on pace for maybe 25-30 or so but games are on average a bit longer than last year.

I voted 25-50, but it's usually on the low end of that (25-35ish). Depends on the length of games as well. I don't play a ton of 50+ hour games, maybe only a few per year.

The most I've ever finished in a year is around 50, and that's when I had a huge backlog. And I whittled that backlog down by playing many of the shorter games first.

I've finished 20 games so far this year.

If I get lucky, I have a good chance low 20s this year. Beaten/nearly beaten 17 games so far. A good chunk of the way through Yakuza Kiwami II which will definitely be the next game I beat.

1 to 3 I'd say, usually one RPG through winter, and a coop game or two during the rest of the year. I mostly play MMO/Multiplayer/Endless games.

I think I only finished Dark Souls 3 this year, and we're on the last chapters of the Lego Star Wars games that we're started like 6 months ago with a friend. So yeah, soon to be 2, waiting for those end of the year RPGs to release to make that 3 and that's about it.

I've started playing through way more games since the Switch came out in 2017. Before that it was probably 5-10. 25+ since. I'm on game 25 for this year.

I don't play more than 50 games a year at most and only finish about half of them.

I play a lot of shorter, 5 hours like games, so i end up finishing a lot of stuff. Last 3 years i got like 60 games.

Finished like 35 games in 2019 until now, since i binge played the Trails series between Sky the 3rd and Cold Steel 2 and these games are huge time wasters.

For the past few years I've pretty consistently played 20-30. Which is...sort of surprising given my schedule and the fact I like longer games—I guess I tend to mix in a handful of shorter titles

I'm expecting to not hit 20 this year tho, been supeeeer busy

I finished a game for the first time in years recently, Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Before that I can't remember the last game I finished. I mainly play games that have no ending like Paragon, Marvel Heroes (RIP x2), Warframe, Path of Exile, The Crew 2.

I put over 1,000 hours into Dragon Age Inquisition (a ton of that from the multiplayer) and haven't finished Trespasser DLC yet, I haven't even started it. I tend to test out builds, classes, and party compositions for fun, and when I'm too powerful I get bored. With Divinity the best part of the game is the first map, then it gets way too slow (waiting for turns as more enemies are added, and the story lose my interest) and I lose interest, not a fan of strategy turn based games. Pillars of Eternity is a lot better due to the combat being faster and closer to Dragon Age Origins, but the disinterest in the story makes it hard for me to return to my mega powered party. When I start Pillars up again I usually start from scratch since I forgot everything, and it would be a new build or party to play with for the new mood.

25-50 lately I would say

2019 (so far): 34
2018: 52
2017: 101
2016: 34
2015: 37
2014: 31
2013: 39
2012: 23

Everything from 2007-2011 was around 1 or 2 cause I got stuck playing MMOs

2006 and prior to that I would say around 8-10

Voted 0-25, and it's easily in the bottom half of that range. I think I'm at 5 this year, assassins creed odyssey, doom 2016, halo 4 and 5, and the new fire emblem. Working on gears 4 right now and I'll probably beat it and 5 within the next few weeks, and that'll likely be it for the year. Definitely not coming even close to 25 though.

Depends on how busy/tired I am in a year and if there's games I really want to finish.

I usually have strong new years resolution of finishing games and I start out strong but my resolve always weakens as the year goes on.

I usually play like 40 different games just to check them out, but I only finish around a dozen a year.

"How many hamburgers do you eat in one day?"

0-500
501-1000
1000-2000
2000+

..to answer the OP, usually not more than 3 per year.

I'd say 20-30, I only entered the 25-50 option because last year (I think, need to double check) I was over 25, usually I'll go through my PS trophies at year end and do a little overview, but that doesn't include 360, Indie/PC, Nintendo, or replays I do, but yeah

Depends on the length of the game but these days probably about 10 at most.

Although I would consider myself a completist to a degree and like to take my time.

This poll man, "0-25", lmao

You know some hardcore gamers. If I finish 5 in a year is a lot

Uh, like 4–5, maybe, including games I spent a decent amount of time with, and not necessarily "finished". I'm lucky if I can fill out a Top 10 for a given release year, several years later, much less right at the end of that year.
