Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. I'm still pretty happy with it especially after installing an SSD.

Mid 2012 Macbook Air. Still trucking along pretty nicely. I'll probably be in the market for an upgrade in the next 1-3 years. Maybe the next time they do an Air revision, whenever that ends up being.

2013, and it was basically low end then. It's basically unusable and has had hardware problems since near the beginning that have only got worse. Did serve its purpose at the time however.

Mid 2012 MacBook pro Retina.

Apart from a screen replacement (that I did myself) more than happy with it.

Same as you OP. A Lenovo from 2013. Which I thought was a momentary solution, but I reduced my use of laptops since, so I never needed an upgrade.

2013 or 14

It's my old work laptop that I bought when they upgraded me. It's pretty good still, but the Quadro GPU feels kind of wasted on me.

I'm using Samsung 2012 model with an i5, Geforce 650m and 8GB of RAM. It got way better when I added an SSD a few years ago, so I could see myself using it for quite a few years more, unless it breaks.

2010 Asus N73J : crazy noise, no battery life, no game installed but still works pretty nicely for some editing and internet.
I consider buying a new one this year though...

Modded 2012 MBP, no retina.

I've replaced/upgraded the hard drive, battery, RAM, and keyboard, so it runs like new.

Late 2013 MBP Retina. I won't replace it anytime soon but the battery is at like 50% of it's design capacity. So maybe I will buy a new battery but it's expensive if I don't replace it myself.

2013 Asus N56-VJ - i7 3630QM, 16GB DDR3, GeForce 635 2GB, 250GB ssd, 500GB.

The battery stopped working a long time ago so it's permanently anchored to my desk now. Mostly used these days for media and light web browsing.

From 'quake area to big OH.
About 8-9 years. It's an HP with Nvidia, that's awful. I haven't turned it on in about a month or two or three? The battery is dead, so outlet only. And it over heats if I do anything taxing.

It was an Asus laptop from 2012, but it's been performing poorly for a while. I even removed Windows and put a Linux OS on it for a but, but I was done and wanted another light weight device to replace it and my old Asus Android tablet (2011?).

Got a Surface Pro back in August, and love it.

My current laptop is a lenovo that I bought back in 2013 IIRC (4th generation intel CPU)

I only use it for writing documents and sending emails, so I'm probably not replacing it till it completely crap out on me

A second hand ThinkPad x61s I bought about six years ago. It's a 2007 design, and honestly it's the best computer I've ever owned and so far beyond my needs that it's not even funny.

I've got a late 2008 MBP that doesn't have a battery (previous one was bulging the case) and a ~2012 Lenovo with an AMD APU that's got a super busted hinge. I mostly use them to repro issues for work, but I still drag the MacBook around as a mobile desktop sort of thing. Could easily buy a new battery for it, but I don't really use it anywhere that doesn't have a plug
