I always wonder who has the oldest public Gmail account. I mean I have an internal account that I have had since 2005 but that doesn't count. My public account was created on 08/30/04. When was yours?

One of my biggest regrets was using my name for my email address with no numbers or anything weird like that. It's a fairly common name, so on a daily basis I get emails from people mistakingly sending to myname@ instead of myname2@. I've received incredibly personal emails. A year ago a lawyer from Texas sent me a contract meant for a couple divorcing which detailed their financial arrangements. Crazy.

Same. I had to abandon mine though - I had <myfirstname>@gmail.com and it is absolutely inundated with spam and other people signing it up for stuff.
