In the past user names could only be changed by messaging an Admin.

With ResetEra 2.0 we're pleased to introduce a feature that streamlines this process: The ability to request a username change directly through your account page. Simply navigate to your "account details" where you will now see a button marked "change" next to your username.

Click this button and you'll be prompted to enter a new username for the staff to review. You are encouraged at this time to add a note about why you are requesting the change. We do not guarantee that any change will be granted.

It is important to note that at this time users are limited to only two lifetime username change requests via this method. Furthermore, once a change is granted, you will have to wait 1 week before you can request another. If you need to change your username beyond these limits, for example if you misspelled something, please use our Contact Form while logged in and we will be happy to look into it for you.
