How to stop YouTube app on local Android from opening YouTube on Xbox One?

I'm using the Edge app on Xbox One to watch a hockey game.

My dad at the house is using an Android on the same WiFi network and he played some YouTube video on his Android. It immediately kicked me out of Edge in Xbox One and started playing the same Yourube video.

Why? I'm pretty sure he's logged into his personal account on his Android. An account that has nothing to do with my Xbox.

How do I prevent this from happening again?

I swear someone else had a resetera thread about this but I couldn't find it.

Have you tried the YouTube app rather than the edge browser on Xbox One? I've never had any issues through that.

also turn off chromecast on the android phone.

It only happens if you click cast to xbox or if you click a notification to play on xbox

In my experience, this is a problem with everything youtube. The app on the TV can be as annoying too.
The YT apps need a refuse/disable conection badly. You don't need to link to start casting to devices.
