Bit of a dark subject, but let's try.

I would at first feel so incredibly cathartic and happy, despite being a guy who's a staunch opponent of capital punishment and the death penalty. It would feel like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The death star being blown up.

Then a part of me would be afraid, because soon it will be the Empire Strikes Back. Mike Pence in charge would be dangerous as hell.

Like justice had been bypassed. I don't want him to die. I want him to live forever to see his legacy destroyed since that's the only thing he cares about.

I don't wish ill will on anybody, but will be glad he is out of the office, but will be terrified to see who will replace him.

Lets not do this. We can hate and find the man repugnant but we shouldn't A) be wishing for his death and B) this is kind of a meaningless thought experiment to begin with.
