His jump to satellite killed his momentum but I gotta give the man credit for doing it 40+ years. To be perfectly honest, I don't know why anyone gives Howard Stern the time of day anymore.
Does Etika laugh at misogyny the way Stern does? Don't know much about him. This is kind of 'old man yelling at cloud', if only because Etika and Stern are both basically shock-jocks that like to do wild, over-the-top things for attention. The only difference is the format.
I never understood the appeal of this guy.To be perfectly honest, I don't know why anyone gives Howard Stern the time of day anymore.
He did use triggered and SJW's when people complained about Xenoblade or Fire emblem, can't remember.Does Etika laugh at misogyny the way Stern does? Don't know much about him.
Bingo. Of course Stern is rich and set for life, a legend in his field, etc...but I think there is a tiny bit of jealousy when people like him see "youtubers."This is kind of 'old man yelling at cloud', if only because Etika and Stern are both basically shock-jocks that like to do wild, over-the-top things for attention. He's obsessed with hentai. That's clearly different than real-world misogyny and sexism, but it also contributes to those issues in some way.Does Etika laugh at misogyny the way Stern does? Don't know much about him.
About what in particular? The character designs? Because the ones in Xenoblade are awful, IMO.He did use triggered and SJW's when people complained about Xenoblade or Fire emblem, can't remember.
Hmm interesting. Thank you. He's obsessed with hentai. That's clearly different than real-world misogyny and sexism, but it also contributes to those issues in some way.
How come when there’s criticism of any kind the responses are always “old man yells at cloud” or “jealousy”? Like god forbid childish overreaction is immune to being made fun of.Bingo. Of course Stern is rich and set for life, a legend in his field, etc...but I think there is a tiny bit of jealousy when people like him see "youtubers."
I was actually expecting Howard to really goof on the guy far more. I think Howard's just not as angry as he used to be. This was really tame. How come when there’s criticism of any kind the responses are always “old man yells at cloud” or “jealousy”? Like god forbid childish overreaction is immune to being made fun of.
Something about Pyra.About what in particular? The character designs? Because the ones in Xenoblade are awful, IMO.
Hmm interesting. Thank you.
No problem. I'm not saying he's a bad guy or anything, to be clear.About what in particular? The character designs? Because the ones in Xenoblade are awful, IMO.
Hmm interesting. Thank you.
Can you explain your response? Serious question. I don't get it. How did Stern "drag him" by making that comment?“Did he call the dragon the n word?”
God damn Howard, dragging him, loved it
The initial appeal was just in the shock nature of the show. But the reason it had longevity is really down to the conversations they'd have. Because that's really the best part of the show. Not when there are naked women on or weird stunts, but rather when they're just sitting around telling stories about one another. That and the news section because of the Jackie laugh (although you've got to have a dark sense of humor to enjoy that part).
I can’t tell if you’re doing a bit or notNot sure who he is or what kind of network he works for but I'm amazed that someone in the media could use impoverished North Korean citizens in a joke like that and keep their job.
Two separate comments, the quote was a funny observation and Howard did roast him good, but the second line wasn’t a direct comment on the firstCan you explain your response? Serious question. I don't get it. How did Stern "drag him" by making that comment?
Bingo. Of course Stern is rich and set for life, a legend in his field, etc...but I think there is a tiny bit of jealousy when people like him see "youtubers."
Because Stern is the last person who should be casting stones about on-air personas and behavior. Glass houses and all that. How come when there’s criticism of any kind the responses are always “old man yells at cloud” or “jealousy”? Like god forbid childish overreaction is immune to being made fun of.
Show went downhill when they got rid of Artie for trying to commit suicide. Artie vs Eric The "Actor" was some of the best radio.I was actually expecting Howard to really goof on the guy far more. I think Howard's just not as angry as he used to be. This was really tame.
Hes one of the best interviewers out thereTo be perfectly honest, I don't know why anyone gives Howard Stern the time of day anymore.
So...television. Got it.You tubers are just faking these reactions just to get viewers. You’d be fool to think it’s genuine.
I don't know about that. He crushed it during it both content and business wise the first part of his satellite run. He single handedly saved Sirius (they are going to be hurting when he leaves), and up until Artie left I thought the show was great. I haven't had Sirius in years, but I got it last year with a new car. I was surprised that Stern is more PC now (he is still not that PC overall). That said after a couple of months of having Sirius I don't really listen to him that much unless on a road trip. His jump to satellite killed his momentum but I gotta give the man credit for doing it 40+ years.
Ok? But this is like his schtick. Like I haven’t listened to Stern in like a decade and I don’t really like his content that much but this is what he does.Because is the last person who should be casting stones about on-air personas and behavior. Glass houses and all that.
Stern can criticize Etika (or anyone else) all he wants. And at some level he's not wrong, Etika is ridiculous. That said...plenty of people have said the same about Stern during his career. They really aren't that different from each other.
His celebrity interviews are really good. That's one of the main reason I listen to him. That and to see if Benjy is late again. To be perfectly honest, I don't know why anyone gives Howard Stern the time of day anymore.
