It must have been quite something to working on Rune when God of War hit earlier this year. Hopefully it inspired them and made the game even better.

I am worried when i read to "or your private server"

So this is not open world SP RPG? But is like Conan or Ark or something like that? If that is the case, i am out because it's not my cup of tea.

So happy to see them getting back on their feet after the Prey 2 fiasco. Fingers crossed they'll get to make a game using the really cool ideas they had in mind for it.

All the co-founders are still there and most of the artists, in fact nearly everyone who worked on OG Rune's still there 18 years later. That said, a number of the Prey 2 team scattered to the wind after the game was canned. Technology programmer Brian Karis set up the San Francisco Epic Games studio, a few are working on the next Bioshock game at 2K, and others are at Avalanche and Bungie. They new Rune has some great people working on it, including some former senior Volition guys and some scripters from Epic.

Thanks I was wondering because I wanted to try and judge if there might be a lot of gameplay innovations so I'm sad to hear the Prey 2 team scattered. I'm still optimistic though.
