What? I'm just saying that era barely represents hardly anything else than just era. Gaming is way bigger and more diverse than era in terms of platforms and games and thus concluding anything from a thread only tells you something about this forum.

PS5. It will have the amazing Sony exclusives that we always get.

No point in getting an Xbox when I have a powerful PC along with 3 years of (free) Game Pass.

PlayStation 5.

Fully backwards compatible with PS4 games is a huge get, I have a massive PS4 library.

Powerful and won't be hobbled by a weaker SKU or a crossgen mandate.

Exclusives.

Traditional console and traditional games.

PS5 - 1st party, VR, Japanese roots, already invested in the ecosystem.

I'm grabbing a coworkers old like-new Xbox One to play Pathologic 2 next week. I'll just use that as a Gamepass + Xcloud server for Scarlett exclusives if able.

Scarlett. Gamepass alone is the reason to own whatever they do. Also, they have finally improved their first party studios, so I see them comfortably reaching great success with them.

I'll probably build a new PC this spring when Nvidia cards come out, so I don't need an xbox. Probably won't need PS5 the first year at least anyway, but I'll probably still buy it day one because I'm a mark and I can afford it.

Easy choice. Only one platform has best racer this generation. Plus best exclusives money can buy. So yeah ps5 offcourse!
Also even with gamepass and all other shizzle Microsoft is trying it still isnt a attractive platform for me because of my pc.
