I just bought my first Nintendo 2DS, and am already having issues with it.

So I recently bought a 2DS to play a few games that I missed, and was supposed to get new super Mario bros 2 preinstalled. The problem is, I can't find the game anywhere. It's supposed to be on the home screen but it's not there at all. Am I just missing something completely? Or is there someway to play the game that I'm not seeing.

I recently opened my spare N3DS to see if it was an IPS screen (it was not) and I ended up doing a system restore before boxing it back up. Hopefully I didn't make the included copy of SM3DL go poof in the process.

I bought it new from GameStop and the packaging was sealed

On the box it says "preinstalled" and every YouTube video I watched shows the game already available on the homescreen

That said, this is one of the reasons why a physical pack-in game is always so much better than a digital freebie.
