I subscribe to Era Clean Add Removal and you should too

In the past, let’s say a month or two after Era launched, I might have paid for something like Clear. But now, fuck no. Until I see an improvement for decent moderation and inclusion of the minority communities, why would I give my money to Cerium and this site?

To be honest compared to the old site I’m impressed that the site didn’t go down when big events or announcements happened so at least you’re getting your money worth here.

The only reason I would even think about it, is because the way the mobile version is designed, you can accidentally click ads that are underneath the side bar when they overlap.

Yeah, install Adblock Browser. It's what I use specifically for era.

One of the only times I access this site is periodically at work, and adblock systems are in place by default, so I don't really have a choice there.

As for home, I built a PiHole for general use that's helpful especially on mobile because some ads on sites can be incredibly intrusive on mobile.

Anyone else notice when typing on your virtual keyboard on your phone that it sometimes "conveniently" makes the Virtual keyboard turn off right over an ad that you now press because your keyboard vanished? What a coincidence that it only seems to happen on this site on quite the beefy phone (S9) as well?

(I usually pay for stuff, but the price is a little too high for me, versus the benefit of it being ad free. I know that this is a careful balance, you can't make it too cheap or you lose out on ad revenue, you can't make it too expensive or people don't sub and then use aggressive ad blockers, so it needs a good balance. I'd pay $12-$20/year or so, which is not much money and probably less than what the site makes on invasive ads per year that get displayed to me)
