If Game of Thrones: Total War is Real. Which Houses/Factions you gonna play first ?

Exactly, it would be super fun. My favorite type of campaign is like Barbarian Invasion's western roman campaign. Also they'd have a really fun strategic position to hold on for, having to watch out for the North and the Wights.

It's really not too complex. Plus you can even play the battles in super slow motion if you're bad at micro.
Ugh, so this isn't rumored? Then I hope our group consciousness can tap into the universal powers and make this a reality.
The only real problem with this idea is that the major houses/regions of Westeros really don't really have much variation in troop types. Iron Islanders would be different, North would be mildly different, Martells/Dorne different, but the rest of the Southern regions would be more or less the same. You'd need like Dothraki, Unsullied, Merc (Golden Company/Storm Crows/etc) and so on to really get any variation.

But Dothraki cavalry! Also Wildlings would play differently from other units, too (snow advantages, move very quickly).
I would think ASoI&F would lend itself better to a Blizzard-style RTS (Wargs being able to control animals to attack units, Bran being able to warg into Hodor/Summer).
Isn't Shogun pretty much all the same and that game is hella lauded.
Unfortunate thread title, but yup... it could be a lot of fun. I'd love to play as Stannis and restore peace through the kingdoms via stern looks, curt replies and murdering shadows.
