Fantastic list, personally I'd replace Star Wars with Death Stranding, Star Wars after finishing it felt very rote in retrospect.

I've been playing Disco Elysium this week and damn that game is amazing, but I am still of the mind that Outer Wilds is my GOTY.

LMAO Death Stranding really isn't that great.

I'm playing the game and enjoying it so far (55 hours in, on Chapter 5), but it's really not that great.
Too many design flaws and the writing is downright laughable at times. Just because the game is creative and unique doesn't mean it's great.

That's a nice list, lots of good stuff on there.

Loved RE2, playing through Control now and loving that too. Couldn't get into Disco Elysium, might just not be for me. So far I'd give it to Jedi Fallen Order. Respawn killed it.

As my avatar suggest: Disco Elysium was awesome. Glad it got the nod, at least, but would love to see it win.

Personally, I'd have RE2 but to be fair I've played barely any of the nominees at this point.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is totally this year's DKCTF - a fantastic game that is critically underrated.

Glad to see three houses on the list though.

Control didn't get the interest/hype it needed but I'm glad it's getting the deserved nods.

RE2 is gonna sweep, though.
