Off to a fresh start!I did (a bit). My old username was "DieNgamers".
Which was supposed to be read in German and roughly translates to "TheN(intendo)gamers". It was a shared account I had with my sister for a couple of months but she "left", so I was alone with a nick that sounded like hatespeech against groups of videogame fans, haha.
Now with just the D it's pronounced it the way it should be. ;)
Yeah it’s nice to see tons of recognisable names and faces. I’m having conversations on Twitter with folk who are still swimming to the lifeboats so there’ll be more to come.
I do hate that I feel the need to change my avatar to whatever mood im in every couple weeks/month because man some people's avatars are immediately identifiable.
I feel the same way OP. Even people that I thought left the other site before it came crashing down are showing up here. Doubt most will recognize me but I'm keeping my username and avatar.

It's been great seeing everyone slowly but surely. I had to rest after yesterday so I'm playing catch-up, but I've already seen so many familiar faces. It makes me really happy to see the community come together like this.
