Update: From what I can tell, it's called Fit Boxing in Japan, but Nintendo will call it Fitness Boxing overseas. Huh.

Reminds me of Shape Boxing by Rocket Company (now part of Imagineer) for Wii that Ubisoft brought over as Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout. Might be a sequel.

Random, but I'm interested in where this goes, especially with Nintendo taking it on in the west.

Now when the hell will we get Medabots on Switch Imagineer? Now that Delta Arts is gone, maybe you can get, oh I don't know, NOISE GAMES (Custom Robo) on it? HMM? :P

Fitness Boxing is coming to Switch, Imagineer announced today. The company is working with Nintendo on the release.

Building off of the successful Shape Boxing series on Wii that sold 800,000 copies worldwide, Fitness Boxing has you using the Joy-Con to simulate boxing exercises. The company Fit Boxing Japan, with the aim to conduct boxing training safely and efficiently, created a program for Switch that allows people to easily experience boxing at home. 1-2 players are supported.

Fitness Boxing launches this winter. Imagineer is handling its release in Japan (where it's known as simply Fit Boxing), but Nintendo will actually distribute the game in other regions.

All info points the Switch and Wii userbase being a completely demographic.

This should flop badly.

Imagineer? How! Haven't heard this name for a VERY LONG time, didn't know they were still around. They were notorious for Quest 64 and Fighter's Destiny on N64.

Interesting. Sounds like the same regional publishing deal Nintendo struck for Go Vacation and like every Square Enix game.

It is a sequel. Imagineer bought out Rocket Company 2 years ago.

They've been around since the NES days. Don't forget Battle of Olympus.
