Yeah. I hope we see that too.I still think that the widow is the "sister" of Sunny. They were probably bffs when they were little. Both the specialist of specials. I hope we get to see a widow training arc where she gets powers back and maybe gains new ones.
Yep.Pilgrim going to be super OP.
He was probably just below Sunny, if that, as a fighter. And his "gift" is probably going to be as strong or stronger than MK's (which dumps on most other people's).
I was really hoping that a random Techno or House track would start playing once they inserted the compass, lol. It's not a missile silo or nuclear silo. It's an underground Dance club yo!
I don't think Pilgrim is actually the bad guy here. Seems like a good dude.
Isn't she actually old as hell? The impression I got was that she was the master when Bajie was young and she still looks hella young in comparison so I assumed she's using some fancy powers on herself.
damn looks like shit is gonna down with pilgrim considering what Daniel teases at the end there.Daniel Wu talking about the mid-season finale

If there's one thing I appreciate in this show is that it never lingers on a storyline. Moves at a pretty brisk pace.I'm glad we are getting everyone connected for the Azra/Pilgrim/Sunny story. The Widow/Chau war plot line was really starting to lose my interest. It would be the biggest twist if Pilgrim getting Henry's powers is NOT a bad thing. Dudes who believe they are the savior of mankind getting godlike powers never goes well. Sunny fucked up bad and he knows it. Should have listened to Bajie.
I think Pilgrim is the kind of bad guy who thinks he's a good guy. Probably in the same way that a mad scientist thinks he's the good guy because he's trying to save humanity.. by "evolving" humans into ravenous spider creatures who can't die.I don't think Pilgrim is actually the bad guy here. Seems like a good dude.
As we enter the final chapter of Into the Badlands, an imprisoned Bajie warns Sunny that Pilgrim can't be trusted. But with his son's life on the line, Sunny struggles with his decision to help Pilgrim unlock the Meridian Chamber. Meanwhile, M.K., still reeling from the revelation that Sunny killed his mother, is hell-bent on revenge. Kidnapped by The Master, the Widow is forced to confront her past. Moon meanwhile races to save Lydia from impending death after she risked her life for his on the battlefield. As the last episodes unfold long buried secrets will be revealed, new alliances will be forged, and the saga will climax in an epic battle to end all battles.
Into the Badlands returns on Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25, kicking off the back half of season 3. These will be the final 8 episodes of the series.
So we finally get a return date for them to announce the show is ending. I know it wasn't one of the highest rated shows on AMC, but I thought the ratings were solid.
Ugh, pretty shitty way to end a great and unique series.
Is this even going to feel remotely like a series finale, considering how long ago it was filmed, perhaps with the expectation of renewal?
