Is Megalovania the iconic track of this decade?

It's absolutely in the top ten. One of the most immediately recognizable gaming compositions in years.

I've never heard neither that nor the skyrim track, and I played both games (not to completion though).

The video in the OP is a new one.
The original Megalovania video that got taken down had upwards of 65 million views. Add that to the 15 milion from this one.

Just so this is emphasized - the original upload of Undertale's Megalovania on YouTube hit 100 million views. No video game track upload on YouTube has ever reached that number from my knowledge.
The person who uploaded that version of the video said they'd delete the video once it hit that number, and they did. The video that's in the OP is a reupload. It's currently got 15 million views despite the fact that it was uploaded this year in May.

Casual gamers would probably be familiar with it, especially the younger audience. That song gets around a lot.
When I hear this I just think about watching the Skyrim reveal trailer for the first time and it makes me kind of sad that it's going to be another 3-5 years before we get TES VI.

Genuinely surprised at the amount of people saying it's the Skyrim song. It sounds like such a generic fantasy song from this decade.
Well the OP says "iconic track" so if we're widening the pool that far I doubt any video game track would qualify
i watched my girlfriend's little brother play the theme on saxophone two years ago at age 14 and he's never even played the game before.
Ya know what? I can live with this... Depending on the day of the week, I might even agree.
I never even liked a single Bethesda RPG since Morrowind (and I wasn't exactly in love with it either) and even I have to admit they fucking nailed the arrangement for this theme.
